I think a lot of people enjoy Big Shot as a great table for cooling down. It's challenging yet has a simple ruleset an is visually easy on the eyes. I often play Big Shot to relax and eliminate eye fatigue, espevially after playing a marathon on one of the more cluttered or visually loud DMD...
Junk Yard is confirmed and there's a rather lenthy discussion of Xenon in the Pinball After Dark thread. Xenon has tits in it :o so it probably won't come to TPA, unfortunately.
It's still impressive given the NES limitations that anyone could port a real pinball table to the system andvmake it work. I just think they went overboard with the extra elements. Definitely the ball gobblers really break the game to some extent. You have to "tilt" the table to break the ball...
Good point. Imagine the outrage of xbox360 fans if they had the ability to buy Season passes BEFORE Crave went bankrupt??? The additional tables that gamers paid for wouldn't have seen the light of day, and Microsoft would have been forced to fork over the refund. Secondly, Microsoft can't...
Oooh, it's an EM table. I wish Farsight would release more EMs but sadly it doesn't look like that will happen due to the new one table per "pack" policy.
I am a Kickstarter backer and can't seem to find the option to view the table "credits" since it was promised that our names would appear in there. I am a "Bronze" backer and for some reason it dawned on my that I've never seen the credits and I simply want to be able to see my name onscreen. Is...
+1 on KS for Tales From the Crypt. I've never played it but when I was a kid they had one in the entrance to the supermarket. I got separated from my mom at the grocery store and I must have stared at it for like ten, twenty minutes; I just couldn't take my eyes off that ghoulish backglass, LOL...
I assume you're talking about Cruizin' USA and Cruizin' World on the N64? They were popular games back in the day but haven't aged very well. There's better racers on the N64.
Exactly! The EM and older SS tables are easier on the eyes, often play slower, and have simpler rule sets, hence the "cool down" effect. The sheer number of playfield elements and objectives in the later 90s tables is staggering and can be hard to follow.
While earlier tables tend to drain...
Thanks! I dabble with photo editing sometimes. I guess you could call it Gimping since I don't have access to photoshop anymore.
Hardst part was deciding if the three balls triangle should point up or down. The squirrel photo was originally a popular NSFW internet meme.
I was stoked over Goin'...
I happen to enjoy the EM tables but there is a huge lack of diversity here. No, most probably aren't worth $5 as standalone tables, but I'm saddened none-the-less that our chances of seeing future EM tables is slim to none. I think they would still sell well as discount add-ons outside of the...
Speaking of "lesser" tables, and I may be in the minority here, but I would really love more EM designs. Big Shot made an excellent "cool down" table after playing the flashier modern tables. I was hoping if the two table packs were continued, that older EMs might occasionally make a...
