does anybody have a date for the release of cyclone on the PS3? this table is easily one of my top three tables of all time...next to the simpsons and comet....after that in no particular order is fireball, timewarp, Indiana jones, paragon, playboy.....
got to say i'm lov'n me some Addams family pinball, but one would think the creator of such a great table(Addams family) would have been dying to utilize Learch's popular saying"you rang" as a jackpot target...can't believe he did not incorporate this into the machine...YOU RANG, SUPER...
the cellar scoop, almost everytime you catch the ball with the left flipper to set the shot, and then shoot the cellar scoop, the ball goes off the table!! this is extremely annoying!!!
talk about being left in the dark, I can't get any timetable for the release of Addams family, party zone, and one of my all time favorites CYCLONE... somebody please pass some intel along for us deprived PS3 users.
is anyone else experiencing ball issues while playing in 3D? almost specifically during multiball, the balls slow to a snails pace...this does NOT happen on every table, it just seems to do this on tables that are maybe more detailed like MONSTERBASH...whereas the whitewater table has no issues...
sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong section but... a while ago, when MONSTERBASH first came out, i had just bought a new samsung 65", i began to play monster bash and was bummed as their was a lot of jutter, the balls began to move irregular, skipping and going real slow and during multiball...
i've been saying this for a while, i thought everything from the graphics to the colors were truly outstanding on WHOFP, even the available views are better, and the scale of the machines are spot on, but the 2 things i truly miss from WHOFP is 1) on machines with the upper loop+upper flipper...
thank you so much farsight!--you just blew me away with your 3D upgrades, it's really an unbelievable experience! and now i hear that highspeed will be coming out really soon! it just don't get anybetter then that. a while ago there was a poll to find out what tables might be thought of to...
no going back.. 3D is AWESOME
going 3D is so fantastic i don't think i'll ever play a 2D version again...i played TPA every day since it's inception, then went into a dry period when "the last of us" on line came out. i would play TPA off and on but felt like it lost it's magic...then low and...
i have to say...yesterday i played my first 3D version of TPA...and i was left in AWE...i had no idea that it was going to be this good...all i can say is WOW!
thanks farsight!
i have a couple of good suggestions for the next "superpatch", and by the way...THANKS FARSIGHT FOR YOUR CONTINUED EFFORT IN KEEPING PINBALL A BRIGHT SPOT OF THE DAY FOR MANY OF US PINBALLERS!...so here's my suggestions: 1) {better sound} i have a BOSE 3.1 surround and some tables sound...
WANTED: a quick explanation of what the "new and improved versions" are mostly about.
the new tables are finally out(fishtales-blackrose)..i purchased them as usual, and now most of my tables are prompting me to download the new and improved versions. are they mainly for the 3D experience...
the first thing i click on in this web site is "hot news for TPA", i then look to see WHEN the latest table will be released for my system(which is currently and usually behind schedule), this website used to keep current with release dates, but i guess since it happens so frequently, they...
i'm an ultra diehard pinball nut who lgged an embarrassingly ridicululous amount of time on TPA, i'm pretty sure that up until about a month ago and since the inception of TPA i had logged on every single day(without fail) to play what ever machine i flavored....but alas, this month i may have...
since were on the subject...what would be the best way to PRE-EMPTIVELY combat this situation? could i actually save the TPA and all of my tables and highscores via a usb memory stick? and if so, how exactly would i do this?
all of us pin heads are blessed, TPA is truly a dream come true.... just think about it, the original machines all a click away and in pristine condition! it's really almost to good to be true. THANK YOU TPA!...that being said, how long and how many machines do they intend to re-create? and...
hey, i wasn't dumping on the podcast, i never even heard it, i don't even know how to recieve it, all i was saying is that i HEARD that it was nothing spectacular, infact, that bit of negative intel came directly from a headline of this very website.
i don't even know how to get it, does it come through the internet and play through the pinball arcade and gaming system?... in any event, i heard it is nothing spectacular, but, if they really want to make it special they should do this: i spend a lot of time and money downloading from itunes...
i am 100% with you!
i love this machine one of my absolute favorites and it is a million times better then "the duel", i think the table is just simply called highspeed and the backglass pictures two state troopers looking through their windshield at what i think is a red ferrari, i love this...
