I second what mpad said plus...
Personally I would go for a 42" screen as it is closer to a real pin size. But again it is a personal choice. I decased mine when I built it in 2010 but if I was building nowadays I would try to buy a really thin bezel which is equally sized on all four sides to...
Same here been waiting since beginning for cab support and I stopped playing and buying TPA and stuck with VP. DX11 and the cam mod has changed that and I bought one missing season with pro already.
The 'one new - one makeover' idea is excellent so if they can commit to that, then spot on.
You are right it is better to use the FOV to achieve a zoom rather than the zoom itself, however the Zoom value is a huge number (10s of 1000s) so 0 and 4 will make no noticable difference, so I probably hit the key slightly when making the settings. But you are correct it is best to use 0. :)
Good idea. I think that is how the Visual Pinball spanned tables used to work.
For me unfortunately it does not work very well as I get a jittery screen with excessive tearing when running it windowed mode, whereas full screen is super smooth. I guess it might be specific to my setup so it...
nudnick - Nice view thanks - I will make that one of my other views as so far I only have one and that backglass is particularly nice. Would you mind supplying you whole file for Xenon please as it would be good to see your other views.
Btw - If you use the code tags around your XML snippet...
If you don't mind still having the DMD on the playfield and you can run TPA in windowed mode, you can clone just the DMD part of the playfield on the second monitor using a Magnifier utility such as this:

I did a test once and it worked...
I had this happen once I think after I forgot to switch my screen to portrait before running TPA with the new Fullscreen setting - the width and height got swapped around . Have you tried re-running the config to check the DX11 settings, and make sure you have it set 1080 x 1920 rather than...
Thanks for the update. Works great. My Xenon settings for 1080 x 1920 portrait.
Posted camera settings in new section.

I agree a heavier ball and weaker flippers would be good. I managed to play a lot of Xenon today. Awesome table but I have managed to do more drop catches in a couple of hours than in my whole life on a real table. I think the flipper handling is better, but just need make the drop catches...
As well as the Video drivers I remember some years ago that the chip set drivers I installed after a clean install caused VP to stutter like crazy. By changing those it fixed it.
My PC is setup for Visual Pinball the card is driving 2 screens. When I use Pinball Arcade it runs on the playfield and the backglass is static. I display the backgkass in Infraview. The point I was making is I have no stutter with a fairly old setup plus my card is displaying a second...
I built my cabinet at the start of 2011 and the PC I built consists of an early Core i7 with a GTX 480. The Graphics card drives two screens, a 42" playfield full HD and 28" backglass. This is now quite old kit, and I don't get any performance issues at the Max settings.
Sometimes a PC...
I heard about this and already posted some complaints about it elsewhere. Like people have just what are they doing to the Atari name.
I used to buy Jeff's game on my Atari 400, plus some of his later stuff.
By the way Jeff was an active member on this forum for those of you who didn't...
