If full dx11 is implemented, they have the ability to now use "Materials Properties"
material properties effect light properties.
Each object in a scene can be assigned material properties which determines how the object is rendered.
rubber/metal/liquid whatever the need be it can be applied...
Intervention time... its very clear that you do have a pinball problem and you need help. Those pins cannot fill the hole inside you and playing pinball is not a substitute for love. I can help you get past all this, just mail me all those beaut... i mean problematic tables right away. ...so...
Lol... am i the only person who loved E.T. on atari when i was little? going around trying to find all the peices was great, so much more advanced than most atari games of the time.
having done similar stuff building random maps for counter strike and quake 3 (although much older games) im pretty sure the process is still placing a light source ball on top of each light on the table and adjusting each light to be the proper color brightness and throw distance. and of course...
I just bought this last night on android and it doesn't play at full resolution on my phone for some reason. I have an LG Optimus G Pro with a 5.6in 1080p screen that usually looks pixel-less but South Park which is the only zen ive tried on it looks all jaggy and muddy and is seemigly playing...
one of the design issues that pops out to me as cheap is the use of boring text fonts especially in the return lanes. Would look much better with hand drawn pinball table looking text. If I had been given the task of drawing the playfield art I would have done it comic book style like a real...
Im experienceing this on what seems to be every table. I recently had to start all my goals over becouse i uninstalled than reinstalled steam not knowing that would wipe all my saves. Man that was a pain. Anyway keep having to redo the same goals over and over and its really frustrating. Gonna...
This version keeps randomly not saving the goals for me. I'll exit the game with the exit the game button but when i open it back up later on things I just did are no longer done, the achievement on steam stays though.
I'm definitely not replacing my 670 any time soon, it's still very impressive to me and simply can't afford a new one any time in the next couple years. I'm an animator and film maker so i do allot of video editing and the 670 is really all i need for that the video games are just a fun extra. I...
I should also note that Zen Pinball (which visually looks great but in my opinion plays like crap) already uses depth of field and looks gorgeous with it
i think with the depth of field you have to see how it's used in certain games to know what I'm talking about. looking at objects up close it's barley noticeable it just makes the images look super smooth but still sharp and all the edges become perfect with no visible pixels anywhere. nothing...
If they were to re-theme unobtainable license tables (like Indiana Jones) then I could see them accomplishing allot out of the sony deal. They may just re-theme tables we already have like they are doing with Ghostbusters (haunted House). Because they are doing that table I think we can assume...
How about cyclone? the old Cyclone... it's the pinball table that devastated America all those years ago and should obviously only be played by mature adults.
Ive gone through 4 android devices since pinball arcade started and it is really frustrating to have to start all over on the goals every time can't wait till this is sorted out
I want to see more than just a lighting overhaul, with dx11 they can use a slight DOF (depth of field) in combination with with the updated lighting that would make pinball arcade seem like a real photograph. Slight DOF of course not so you can't see what's in the distance just the right amount...
Zen is owned by sony which already has a plethora of licenses to work with as well as partnerships with other large companies that make it a whole lot easier to acquire other licenses. these big companies buddy up on allot of things like soundtracks for their movies and having been already setup...
