I'm guessing Earthshaker would go to family mode, but, if I remember correctly, at least one game on Pinball Arcade has the word left in. I think other E10 games were able to get away with similar language.
I wish it was easier to find info. I had to browse the facebook page to find out that the Wii U version was indefinitely put on hold to focus on the Xbox One version. Nothing on the news page. :( I'll probably be sticking to the PC version. Video card is not the greatest, but it still runs...
I like the 3DS versions myself. I agree they pale in comparison, but they still run at a decent frame rate and play well. The comparison isn't a fair one anyway and they actually run somewhat better than on the iPad one, which does have more powerful hardware (to be fair, 3DS has a lower...
It's more the 200+ price preventing me from getting it. I do have some other Saturn shmups like Batsugun, Strikers 1945, Galactic Attack (Rayforce port. US version, not import), Gradius Deluxe Pack, Parodius Deluxe Pack, and Cotton 2, though. I also have the Konami MSX collection for Saturn...
I'm a huge fan of shmups. I like the Toaplan games for Genesis, the Gradius series, R-Type, the Thunderforce series, Eschatos 360, the Cave shmups for 360, and various others. Last one I got was Cotton 2 for Saturn.
The Pinball games from the developers of Pro Pinball for DS and DSi used both screens, which worked out well. I know it wouldn't be feasible with emulation (which seems to be off the cards, though I'm curious of the performance updates to the 3DS hardware made things any easier) and 3D would...
It's not on Wii U yet. Wii U doesn't have Balance of the Force yet either. The good news is that the Wii U tables were on sale during the Holidays and I picked up tables I didn't have yet on 360 (Zen classics and Star Wars Pinball).
Firepower wasn't emulated in PHoF or Pinball Arcade. I have no idea why it was left out of the 3DS collection, especially since it was on PS2.
Edit: doh. I meant to say it was scripted.
I noticed some games like Nano Assault EX had improvements in performance after the last 3DS update. Does...
This is now at Flippers in Grandy, NC, which I go to when I visit my dad. I like this table quite a bit and it's neat playing breakout with a real ball. The lane change is a neat feature too.
According to the latest Pinball Arcade newsletter, a new PHoF is coming to 3DS featuring the non-emulated Pinball Arcade tables from Gottlieb and Williams.
Yeah, the EU megadrive version plays great on US Genesis systems (and unlike JP Megadrive games, there's no difference in cart shape to worry about. PAL standard and/or region lock can be an issue for some games, but isn't for this one) and is cheap. Not to mention it's not exactly legal to...
Pinball Dreams did come out for SNES, but it was a port of the flawed DOS version. It actually had US SNES and JP Super Famicom (under the name Pinball Pinball) releases too. I heard the SNES Fantasies is a weak port. It's definitely not a good looking version of the game.
Jaki Crush is the...
Who advised you to do this? I'm disappointed that you decided to use an "all in one" engine instead of retooling the game specifically for moblie platforms. It's disappointing that the more powerful platforms that are able to handle the emulation are getting inaccurate scripted tables like Black...
