Weird experience with Tee'd Off today. Not a big fan, just trying to clear all the standard goals and the game exploded on me and I scored 1.4 billion which is pretty high for me since my previous high score was only 219 million. Also 9th place for the week which feels fancy. Not sure what I...
The artwork just kills this table. It is just a confusing mess that makes the ball hard to follow. I am totally with you on the drop targets and it is a really unique and fun layout... but the artwork, aagh!
As far as Creature, COME ON, everyone knows that table is great. It has to be in...
Those are fantastic tables but how can White Water be underrated? Looking at Season 2 it is arguably the best table. It doesnt have the branding of T2 but did people really not think of it as the best table that season?
And anyone that doesnt like Gorgar should go back to playing first person...
I went with Class of 1812 because it is a really fun table that people bag on for some reason. No Good Gofers and Creature from the Black Lagoon are two of my favorite tables but I feel like everyone already acknowledges these two as great tables. In fact, a lot of the tables on this list...
Yeah, but they are 27 ugly looking tables. I play TPA almost everyday for a year subscription that costs not much more than going out for pizza once. Saving $10 to play on ugly 80's looking tables is not a bargain to me but a waste of $18.99.
It's weird seeing what people say are hard. Central Park and Genie seem easy to me. Genie is so slow it is easy to prevent drains with a nudge and Central Park just keeps throwing endless extra balls at you.
For me the easiest are ones I have to think if I even have enough free time to play a...
Thanks! I didnt even know what MIP mapping was. Is this recommended with any other table? Some tables look better than others but this is the first one that seemed really off.
It's turned out to be a lot of fun starting over. Oddly enough the one FunHouse standard goal that was giving me trouble (frenzy) I hit on my first game. It's also fun to see if I can get all the standards on my first game now that I know the games well. I may have to do it again in another 6...
My dad too but that is half of my point. My dad was way to old to be in a video arcade in 1987. And in 1990 I could either put 50 cents or even 75 cents for a single game of Dr Dude or I could play 3 games of Mortal Combat. By 1990 I remember the pinball only being played by the adults that...
That makes sense, all of those tables seemed really outdated when they came out. Now that I am older I get the Elvira thing but in 1989 as a 13 year old in the arcade I had no idea who she was, the art looked like some old woman with my grandmothers hairdo trying to look sexy.
I can't remember which table but I lost the 2nd ball in multi-ball but it didn't register so it stayed in multi-ball with only one ball and kept scoring jackpots everytime I hit a ramp.
And I always get the ball stuck behind the upper flipper in TZ, but I wouldnt call that a bug so much as...
Now the initial frustration has passed, I am starting to enjoy seeing which tables I can sweep all 5 goals in my first game. You forget how many tables there are until you have to download each one of them again.
