And your recent nightmods with the latest lighting, the new 3D models from dark, etc. are the most stunning virtual tables I have seen on any platform to date, only beaten by the Pro Pinball Alpha which is just one table.. People should check them out for sure:

I am given up on TPA now. Visual Pinball tables have advanced so much in the last 12 months in terms of lighting, physics, etc. plus you can get recreations of older tables (including EMs) that FS will never produce.
Since TPA was first announced I promoted the game as much as possible in...
That is good to hear - I would also pay a hefty mark-up for an EM pack. As for the rules being script although true I am sure it wouldn't take a good programmer long to code - The VP authors do it quite efficiently. Plus EMs don't have all the complex models/toys/etc. so they would save time...
I am a Nexus 7 first gen user 4.4.4. I just had a cousin with an Ipad Air stay over for a week and I installed this app on it and tried the free table. I was very impressed and in sim mode the physics were actually very good and a lot better than I expected. I love all the config options -...
This was already posted thanks to mpad in the PC cabinet section, however it probably deserves it's own discussion thread here under general.

"Farsight Studios: Developing a coin operated version of the popular <b><i>Pinball Arcade</i></b> app, which is...
It would most likely be running on a PC so good news if the PC version gets the same treatment as promised so many times in the past. Also it might speed up the delivery of cab features. Then again it might be exclusive to the arcade. Can anyone at FS confirm?
I don't like a marble sized ball either, however on the PC version by setting the highest resolution in the alpha build but playing on a 1920 x 1080 42" screen the ball looks the size of a real pinball as I am losing a bit of the outsides of the table (I held a real pinball near the glass/screen...
Thanks for the info. Not sure if I used the correct term. I am referring to the 'Goal n complete' messages that appear near the flippers, rather than the popups in the corner. Does anyone know if those goal notifications can be turned off already, if not this is a most wanted!? Thanks
Although consistency is good there are good views and bad views across all the tables and I would worry they would choose a bad view. Much better would be to have the ability to create a lockable customised view per table. I would create a cabinet friendly view Where the size of the ball...
- Better lighting - ie: Dx11 on PC
- Difficulty options
- Cabinet support at least with backglass (PC)
- User definable lockable camera view per table
- ability to turn off achievement notifications. I don't know what they are but I know they don't exist in real pinball and this is a simulation.
I have said it before and will say it again. Why not ditch the expensive art dept and get some more programmers. For the art draw on the great artists in the VP community, grizz, etc. and employ them on a freelance basis. I mean, FS use a instamatic camera to photograph tables, whereas the VP...
Wouldn't using a professional scanner to scan playfields, etc be better than taking photos? A lot of VP tables are scanned like this - why not tap into the community?
The easiness of TPA kills it for me, and I live in hope that one day they will add a tougher mode like Bobby once mentioned in one of Jeff's interviews.
They are given weekly updates. They are real fusspots (perfectionists) which is a good thing. They are rendering and re-rendering every single part of the table using amazon servers. They have also done some work to their toolset, the GUI, high score uploads, etc so most of this stuff should...
