Same playfield, but the rule set is very different. More focus on gambling with the ability to bet your score, as well as mini games and more types of multiball. I'm hoping for Who dunnit first since it has a similar gambling style with a cool murder mystery theme.
Not sure how far out of the way, but I was near that area a few months ago and, of all places, a mini arcade in Zern's market had a couple pins, Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man and Gottlieb Jumping Jack.
Farsight mentioned on facebook that Strikes 'n Spares from the Wii/PSP Gottlieb Collection is most likely coming back, but I'm not sure about the others.
I would love to see real tables based on Thor and Captain America, though the Pinball FX 2 tables are awesome. Fantastic 4 would make a nice real table too (and I like the Pinball FX2 table of that, as well). I hope Stern makes a pinball based on the Avengers movie.
Last one they made was Frogger pinball for iOS and facebook. They used to be Fuse games and released Super Mario Ball GBA (which doesn't look that great), Metroid Prime Pinball DS (awesome!), and Pinball Pulse The Ancients Beckon for DSi and 3DS (which I heard is awesome).
I wonder why a Sonic the Hedgehog pinball was never made by SEGA pinball. It would have been a shoe in for sales and it's a good theme for pinball to boot. Sonic was on the DMD on some of the SEGA pinballs, though.
Empire Interactive was the original UK publisher of Pro Pinball. The designers were Another Cunning Development. They now work at a company named Silverball Studios.
Doh. I forgot Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man. That's one I like quite a bit. Probably one of the first pins with a mini game too.
I liked Q*Bert's Quest when I played it, but after watching a video, it looks like you can keep the ball in play for a long time if you are good at nudging and get used to...
I'm surprised there wasn't a machine based on Rambo. That would make an awesome pinball. Other licenses that I'm surprised don't have a pinball are 60s Batman, Batman Returns, Die Hard, Wonder Woman, House M.D. (CSI and 24 got machines), X-Men, NCIS, The Neverending Story, Sonic the Hedgehog...
When I was playing on 360, I got multiball, g-force accelerated, and extra balls, but after losing a ball while having an extra ball, the ball counter went blank. When I ran out of extra balls and lost a ball when the counter was blank, the ball counter went back to ball one (which was the ball...
Considering Farsight's reply on facebook, I think Elvira and the Party Monsters has a good chance, but, from previous replies, I think Farsight is going to wait for an official annoucement to reveal some tables.
Me too, but I heard good things about their games, so it would be interesting to see how it would have turned out. It seems every pinball game, no matter how good the physics are, hypes up the physics, though.
