It's alright. I actually like all of the games in the Gottlieb collection, though I agree it could have been better. I'm glad Black Hole made it at least. Ace High and Central Park are actually two of my favorites from the collection. I definitely want to see Genie and Tee'd Off again as well...
I used parentheses to empathize I was talking about Strikes 'n Spares. It is a redemption game, according to ipdb. And I think it's a bit rude that I get told they focus on sales every time I give my opinion that they shouldn't only bring games with high sales. I don't want to see crappy pins...
I hope they have plans for some more Gottlieb games that aren't in the PHoF collection. It wasn't confirmed, but Farsight mentioned that they like Haunted House, so I hope it comes. Telling by other Farsight posts, it sounds like they plan to bring the other Gottlieb Hall of Fame EMs and Strikes...
I'm guessing becuase Diablo 3 is expected to be an extremely popular release and other games would be competing against it for sales. I know for sure Zen Studios won't be releasing their Avengers pack that week (it was mentioned on the Zen Studios forums). It would be interesting if Pinball...
Flippers in Grandy, NC, where I went when I visted my dad is a very nice arcade that focues on pinball and even has a convience store. Lots of newer sterns like Tron Legacy LE, Transformers LE, Family Guy, and Batman The Dark Knight and a good variety of other pins like Attack from Mars, Eight...
I'm a little confused about the missing sounds, myself. With ROM emulation, I would think more of the sounds would be intact. I wonder what the issue with the ROM is.
It depends on the game. Some games have a flashing light near the flippers that indicates the ball save is active and others only give you the ball back if you got no points after launch.
I mentioned twice in this thread that the room with the exact same marquees came from PHoF on the 360/PS3. It appears when you select a table and let the hovering camera go across the room, only you can see the full Sorcerer marquee on PHoF. I doubt the marquees will show up on the console...
Doh. I must of missed that post. I made the assumption it would release later becuase of MM and I didn't see it in the making of video. I'll take another guess.
June/July : Harley Davidson (3rd Edition)/Taxi
July/Aug : Attack from Mars/Pin*Bot
Aug/Sept : Creature of the Black Lagoon/Gorgar...
I'm going to take a guess at this too:
June/July : Harley Davidson (3rd Edition)/Taxi
July/Aug : Dr. Dude/Pin*Bot
Aug/Sept : Creature of the Black Lagoon/Gorgar
Sept/Oct : Eight Ball Deluxe/No Good Gofers
Oct/Nov : Monster Bash/Black Knight
I know this and I definitely want to see it in...
I wouldn't be surprised if it was close, but there are those hints on the 360 and PS3 version to keep in mind, as well. I think it's a given most of the stuff shown in the making of video is coming soon. It seems the hint on the right wall isn't Spirit of 76, but it's fun to guess what it could...
I heard her voice a couple times too. I'm curious about voices in other games as well. I know the same stereotypical French voice is in Attack from Mars as well.
I would love to see White Water. Very fun table. I hope to see some of Dennis Nordman's other tables as well (Dr. Dude is semi-comfirmed and Elvira was hinted at).
I read the description. I'm skeptical about funding remakes of games that aren't from the original developers, especially ones that are "inspired by" the original.
The link is in another post, but you could have saved time by looking it up on google, wikipedia, mobygames, or gamefaqs. I'm...
Sharkey's Shootout has a real pool player, Jeanette Lee, featured on it, though. I hope they go for Bally's World Cup Soccer 94 over Striker Xtreme. The former has a license, but it's an excellent table. I haven't played Striker Xtreme, but I heard mixed things. I know Stern also has an...
Monster Bash is licensed. It has the Universal monsters. Same deal with Creature from the Black Lagoon. So Farsight already has a couple licensed tables confirmed.
Monopoly is one I would like to see as well. I tried it in VP and it seems to be fun. I would like to play a real table. Farsight...
I'm skeptical. Josef doesn't seem to be aware of the superior version in Full Tilt Pinball for Windows that is just called "Space Cadet". I'm a bit weary of supporting a fan project like this via kickstarter, as well.
