I hope you didn't misread my last post. I feel Farsight's communication has been very good, but I was joking about how "a lack of poor communication" really means good communication.
I agree. Farsight definiltely lacks poor communication, though I don't understand why someone would complain about Farsight's good communication. Why would someone want poor communication? Farsight is very busy working on Pinball Arcade and they still take time to reply to posts.
I want to see Black Knight and Firepower, as well. I rather see a table with a similar name, Bally's Strikes and Spares, than Strikes 'n Spares. I'm hoping Haunted House will come too. Even though these early SS machines are more simple, I hope they go for accurate ROM emulation with these...
Latest iOS update and everything closed? Before the update right before the MM and BoP update it would get extremely jerky to the point of unplayability at time and now there's only a slight jerkyness at times with a much more stable framerate, making it much more playable than before. Not...
I have Pinball Dreams iOS now, so I compared it to the PC. iOS version is based on the Amiga version. Steel Wheel bears even more of a resemblence to Bad Cats with the same type of curved ramp instead of the altered DOS version ramp. Nitemare's playfield is also a bit different. Physics in the...
I'm beginning to wonder if the Pinball Arcade version even uses the rom since, on the real black hole and the VP version, the background sound stops whenever a sound effect is played, which isn't the case with the Pinball Arcade version. A post I read said it's a known issue with the system 80...
My last post is from before the frame rate to Ripley's was updated. The framerate isn't perfect, but the game is far more stable now compared to how it was before and I find it to play very well now.
I tried the VP Black Hole. The extra speech played, but the lower playfield background sound didn't. I'm guessing the lower playfield sound might be something on the table itself rather than in the ROM. Then again, it could have been an issue with the specific ROM.
I perfer Pinball Arcade, but I still like Zen quite a bit. I plan to get the Avengers tables as well, though I'm going to wait for June, even if they somehow come out in late may. I ordered Super Pinball II for Super Famicom (I have a "modded" SNES to play it) to tide me over (though that will...
I wish Farsight was more specific in their wording. I misread "next DLC release" as being the release with DLC 1 and 2. There was another time I misread their post when I was asking if Bride of Pinbot and MM were the next DLC release (I figured they were, but I was trying to clearify it more due...
Any news on why the first pack was rejected?
I was planning to get both the DLC for Xbox Pinball Arcade and Zen Pinball's Avengers pack this month, but since the former isn't coming until next month and the latter will be near the end of the month, if it comes this month, I went ahead and...
I rather see stuff like Pinball Circus than games that were never put into production. Some sound interesting, but according to ipdb, many of them have had their playfied stripped. I rather see some released Gottlieb tables (many of John Trudeau's games had simpler rulesets than planned due to...
Farsight is trying hard for TAF. Twilight Zone seems to be the next most popular and a post from Farsight said "stay tuned" in response. Lord of the Rings from Stern has gotten a lot of votes and Simspons Pinball Party is very popular too. As far as unlincesed tables Whitewater, The Getaway...
At least we're getting four tables at the same time, now, but it's a bit disappointing I have to wait until June for BoP and MM on 360. At least I can still play them on iOS in the mean time and the MM update is coming sooner than the 360 DLC.
I was attempting to do so earlier, so I know how hard it is, but I still think it would make it easier for Farsight to see. If it was on the first post and updated from the start, it would have been easier to update. I gave up since 5 pages was a bear, though.
The point of having an updated...
The similarially named Strikes and Spares from Bally is a fun one too. Somewhat racy art, though. I would like to see early SS in general. A few from Williams like Black Knight are coming, but I would like to see some from Bally, Stern, and Gottlieb as well. I would also like to see some early...
I hope more Gottlieb tables come too. I tried asking Farsight if they had any non PHoF tables planned, but didn't get an answer. To be honest, while Strikes 'n Spares sounds fun, there are other Gottlieb games I rather see. I'm willing to bet that some of their EMs like Royal Flush and early SS...
