Half of those responses voted for SS stuff like Eight Ball Deluxe and one post even said Eight Ball Deluxe and Sharkey's Shootout are the same game. There were still a lot of posts voting for EMs, but it's extremely disappointing if this was part of the reason EMs won't be planned for awhile.
Seriously though, I'm hoping Cirqus Voltaire will be in the next batch of DLC after this one too. I'm hoping Attack from Mars will be with it. (Actually, I would like an EM to be included with the DLC as well, but I found out there are no plans for EMs for a year or so, which is extremely...
Is this worth picking up? It has some EM tables I'm interested in playing, as well as Haunted House and Cue Ball Wizard. I heard mixed things about the physics and I was wondering how well the tables were recreated. I was hoping for an EM fix, especially with the disappointing news from Farsight...
I just got an email saying the update on Ripley's will be another month or two for iPad 1 and iPhone 4. Now I wish I could trade in the iOS version for the Xbox 360 version.
I heard back from Farsight when I asked about plans for EM tables and I'm extremely disappointed. I was told that there is no plan for the next year or so for EM tables. Also when I asked about Stern Electronics and Chicago Coin, I was told that have the rights, but they have to focus on tables...
The thread title is misleading (I thought it would be about someone making a pinball machine based on Where's Waldo or something), but this is awesome. Someone controlling a real pinball machine using virtual pinball.
I rather see both tables, especially since High Speed is a very good one. Also, I would like to hear from Farsight on why High Speed wasn't included on PHoF becuase a friend is under the impression that it has some licensing issues or something attached because it's a popular table and it's not...
Yeah, I remember reading that. I was talking about a port of the classic Apple II Pinball Construction Kit, though. An editor might be neat to create your own classic style tables, but I don't think a close port of Pinball Construction Kit world work for Pinball Arcade, especially with the...
I have tried remakes of classic games in Visual Pinball and Future Pinball and they always felt a bit off. Since Pinball Arcade is trying for real pinball, I don't think it wouid work well. Personally, I think the similarities to Black Knight are a good reason not to include David's Midnight...
I noticed this is turned off in the iOS version. Is it planned to have this playing while the table is selected? It's a cool feature and I would love to have it restored.
No confirmation of High Speed either, and that one isn't even licensed. I'm surprised that this wasn't even included on PHoF, especially since it's a very popular table.
There's still the shareware demo on PC that be played with DOS Box. Amazon had a couple sellers selling the CD Epic Pinball for cheap, as well, which also works great in DOS Box.
