Half of those responses voted for SS stuff like Eight Ball Deluxe and one post even said Eight Ball Deluxe and Sharkey's Shootout are the same game. There were still a lot of posts voting for EMs, but it's extremely disappointing if this was part of the reason EMs won't be planned for awhile.

It's funny. Physics looked ok in videos, but it's hard to tell without playing since there are so many specifics.

Is this worth picking up? It has some EM tables I'm interested in playing, as well as Haunted House and Cue Ball Wizard. I just got an email saying the update on Ripley's will be another month or two for iPad 1 and iPhone 4. Now I wish I could trade in the iOS version for the Xbox 360 version.

The thread title is misleading (I thought it would be about someone making a pinball machine based on Where's Waldo or something), but this is awesome. Someone controlling a real pinball machine using virtual pinball.

I have tried remakes of classic games in Visual Pinball and Future Pinball and they always felt a bit off. Since Pinball Arcade is trying for real pinball, I don't think it wouid work well. Personally, I think the similarities to Black Knight are a good reason not to include David's Midnight...

I noticed this is turned off in the iOS version. Is it planned to have this playing while the table is selected? It's a cool feature and I would love to have it restored.

No confirmation of High Speed either, and that one isn't even licensed. I'm surprised that this wasn't even included on PHoF, especially since it's a very popular table.

So it isn't just older devices? I think it's due to the use of polygons. I noticed lines on Black Hole and near the illusion lights for ToM too.

There's still the shareware demo on PC that be played with DOS Box. Amazon had a couple sellers selling the CD Epic Pinball for cheap, as well, which also works great in DOS Box.
