There's a place in MD called Crab Towne USA that has a few pins and some older arcade games that I sometimes go to. Pins are in decent condition, though I noticed there are days when everything is working and days when some are out of order. Addams Family used to be out of order, but last time I...
ugh. There was a FB post requesting EMs, but listed two SS machines, Volcano and Elektra. I noticed Gottlieb's Bronco EM already has a (unofficial?) port on iOS. The ratings for it are negative and mention poor physics and bugs.
I hope they put El Dorado City of Gold on hold until they start the EM tables. I found out the SS ones have some differences in scoring and add a pole between the flippers. The El Dorado and Royal Flush remakes actually sound pretty good, from what I read about them and tried in VP, but Jacks to...
I just wish they would just go back to the classic Pro Pinball physics. Metroid Pinball still had good physics, but I like the ones in Pro Pinball better. I wish they would go back to traditional nudging with buttons for systems with buttons too. Their games or DS, DSi, and 3DS only had touch...
I meant that they have a new controller for iPhone (iCade mobile game controller), an iCade with just the controller part (iCade core), and a smaller iCade Jr. coming out as well.
iCade mobile
iCade core
iCade Jr.
True, but finding one in good condition is still more fun than any simulation could provide (though I certainly want to see it in Pinball Arcade), especially when you see the toys on it in person. I was lucky enough to find a couple places, National Pinball Museum in Baltimore and Crab Towne USA...
Did something happen? Monster Bash was announced on Facebook and the other is listed on the list in the app store, so they have both been announced. Creature from the Black Lagoon was even in a previous Williams collection for PC. I'm guessing these may be a safe bet for October. Elvira looks...
It was also mentioned in the email that Big Shot (already confirmed) and the other EMs from the Gottlieb collection will definitely be released at some point too.
I was wrong about them being delayed, though. They weren't put on hold due to ROM emulation either (I misunderstood when I was asking about Stern tables. I think it was referring to the SAM emulation, which is in the works, but not ready yet). It's only becuase there's so many SS tables already...
I got an email from Farsight. I misunderstood. EMs are still in the plans, just not this year due to all the stuff coming out.
Yes, very "interesting" place for the lights. I can't wait to play it.
I got a reply from Farsight. I misunderstood. EMs are still in the plans, just not for this year. Anyway, I think it's cool that they have the rights to Stern Electronics and Chicago Coin tables. I wouldn't mind seeing Meteor (SS) eventually. I played Nugent (early SS) recently. While it's not...
Personally, while Gottlieb has some good SS tables, I think having the Gottlieb license without EMs is a waste. Many of their better tables are EMs and it's a huge part of who they are. I also feel EMs are a huge part of pinball and if none of the better EMs get made for Pinball Arcade, I'll be...
I think scores on more than one credit should be excluded from the high score list and the number of presses for a credit should be the default of the machine.
You misread. I know they are SS. By "It has some EM tables I'm interested in playing, as well as Haunted House and Cue Ball Wizard.", I meant "It has some EM tables I'm interested in playing, as well as a couple SS tables". I mentioned the SS tables by name becuase there are only two of them...
1. Royal Flush
2. Big Brave
3. Fireball
4. Queen of Hearts
5. Monte Carlo
6. Four Million BC
7. Slick Chick
8. Jumiping Jack
9. Flying Turns
10. Challenger
I found out it was Flying Turns I played in Vegas, not Race-Way.
It would probably help if there was a topic here about which EMs you would like to see. I just hope they don't do the same thing they did with El Dorado for the Wii and PSP Gottlieb collections. I don't want just the SS El Dorado or only Royal Flush Deluxe.
I thought with the lack of ROM emulation that EMs would be less demanding to do and less demanding on certain platforms too. Pinball Arcade is already doing well on iOS and Android too.
