I don't think it's fair to compare Fathom's replay value to a table that has so many modes and ways to score like Ghostbusters, but everybody has their opinion, I guess (and I'll no doubt play more of the latter).
But I'm sure they'll keep on releasing the older tables, so don't worry about it.
I thought it was just me. The crackling in theaudio is a bit of a bother, but it doesn't ruin it for me. Maybe they can fix this later.
Anyway, the table both looks and plays great, and I'm very pleased with this release right now.
IIRC, from what I heard on the stream it's only going to come out on normal TPA on Steam today. Not sure what's release come out to Stern PA, but maybe they're fixing all the bugs and stuff people have been talking about before the release.
It's just Ghostbusters on both platforms then? Well, that's a bit disappointing. Not to mention it's weird how the tables are no longer just SPA exclusives, but that's fine by me; at least I only have to buy it once.
I mean, it's not disapppoint how we're getting Ghostbusters, I just expected...
Eh, I'd rather have something else. Those EM tables don't have much lasting value for me, I barely even touched the last pack after getting all the goals.
When is Banzai Run?
Funny, that's exactly how much it costs in my country right now, so I don't see why OP is even complaining in first place when it's already so cheap.
Especially when you consider how much these tables cost in real life.
It wasn't because it was 'too adult'. I sent an e-mail to Farsight about it once, and they said the fact the Match animation doesn't play on both Frankenstein and Last Action here is due to emulation problems. While I have my doubts if it's true or not, they'll probably fix it someday.
Yeah, the dollar pricing might be wrong here.
Brazil is one of the regions that got hit the hardest with the price change, used to about $54 Brazilian Real, but now a season pack goes for $93,99. This was changed for other platforms too, like PSN. All I can do is buy table packs now.
Well, it makes sense from a market perspective, though not all Steam games use the full dollar conversion, so something might be wrong here.
But still, I live on a very tight budget, so I gotta make do with standalone buys. Shame they're probably not fixing the ingame price error by the weekend.
Alas, I can't even buy it because separate purchases are broken.
I pretty much stopped buying seasons when TPA got a considerable price increase in all platforms. Unaffordably so for me.
Saw the stream yesterday; it's very much playable, that for sure. Lost a bit of its charm, but it's still some damn good gameplay in the end.
But if I could do mods, I'd probably fix this one and TAF.
