So, now that they're slowing down their release schedule a bit, what improvements would you guys like to see? Improved physics? Quality updates on the older tables? Can't remember if there are any tables left that they didn't get the ROMs for, but if so, getting those in game?
I'm always down for the season pass. I want to own as many of these tables as possible, hence why I've gotten all the Pinball Arcade seasons, all of the Zaccaria Pinball tables, and will be picking up Stern tables as they are added in. Not everything will be a gem, but I'm always glad to give...
The listed fixes and updates were only specified for PC/iPhone/Android. Dunno if they apply to consoles as well, or if they're saving them for the next major update there.
Well, the newsletter went out with a good sized list of changes. I won't post them all, but they did list some interesting items to work on:
"TODO:
Updated table physics for seasons 1-4
Improved Android and iOS cameras
Emulated Black Knight and Gorgar
New custom ball packs
Fix the button...
I must say, the thought of having my tables in a Pinball body for that realistic feel would be nice.
Wonder how much it costs, and if it'll work well with Pinball FX 2, Zaccaria Pinball, and Pro Pinball Ultra as well...
I'll just leave this here...
Edit: Or not, lol.
Centigrade 37? Not familiar with that one. Ooh, a double pack? Exciting. Assuming two more EMs. Do love a little EM fun.
We could get it on PC by then. The Steam releases of The Pinball Arcade tables tend to come around the same time as the iOS/Android versions (give or take due to some issues). I don't see why PC can't be the first new platform choice for Stern Pinball Arcade.
I'm curious as to if you were able to get any of the Doctors back (or other characters) for any original voice work? A Jackpot from Christopher Eccleston? A Multiball from David Tennant? Something like that (you know, pinball specific phrases, not just something you could get from a show...
I could read it without squinting...though I think my eyes are now bleeding, lol.
Been excited for the Doctor Who table since the Kickstarter. I wonder how far off the Regenerated table will be from the regular table...
That seems unlikely as you'd think this stuff would have been negotiated prior to the release of the Kickstarter.
I have to imagine something changed since the launch on one/both sides of the arrangement.
Well, to say this was a surprise to see is an understatement...I hope this just means either they got it fully paid off, or renegotiated so they only need to ask for less money.
Would be a damn shame if we'd lose out on the AC/DC table.
According to the Kickstarter, both AC/DC and Star Trek will have Premium and LE versions (though they didn't detail what specific versions of LE they would include).
