Monopoly needs to go in. It just went into my local arcade, and I love it. It actually feels more like a Williams than a Stern. Has all the Lawlor signatures - two sets of bumpers, balls locking in bottom-left, two ramps right next to each other... you can basically just point at various features and exclaim "Whirlwind! Ripleys! Twilight Zone!" I really love it.

No, it is the European version of Nascar I think.

I've only played the Nascar version. I know it isn't super popular, but I had fun the few times I've played it. Lots of modes for you mode fanatics out there.

If we are going to go Stern how about some mode based pins. Maybe Grand Prix (NASCAR) or Rollercoaster Tycoon. Lots of replay value on the mode based pins.

I assume the OP means modern Sterns, in which case High Roller Casino is far and away the most likely for 2014, with Sharkey's Shootout not being too far behind. For classic Sterns, however, the playbook opens up quite a bit wider, with Catacomb, Freefall, Iron Maiden, Lightning and Nine Ball being the ones that would be most readily welcomed by me (I'd gladly take any classic Stern, though, as Flight 2000 really is getting kind of lonely, wouldn't you agree?).

Ugh...spoke too soon...can't believe the mobile version's going to be a microtransaction piece of junk. This is a franchise that deserves to be a premium title.
At least the PC version is supposed to be coming out in Fall.

It's a tough situation. Most of the non-license restrictive tables were from Stern's original hey-day of the very early 80s... and those types of early SS tables are generally (unfairly, IMO) called "garbage" by many of the posters on Facebook, and also don't sell as well as the newer DMD and toy-and-ramp-heavy tables.
Stern's newer tables are consistently good, but like Data East and Sega, they have pretty hefty licenses attached to them.
That's why we're not likely to see many Stern show up.

An average person born in 90s or later is not going to buy old school tables. It's really hard to attract this generation to a pinball game in the Call of Duty era.
People want graphics and achievements these days. However it is still possible with more modern licensed pins. Chances are this generation will love pinball too.
TPA must be profitable like every game so it is important to attract more active gamers too.

Sad truth, ain't it.
I remember seeing a FB post about a guy saying season three is a disappointment so far because of the lack of licensed tables. Far as I can see, this season turning out great. Oh well, matter of opinion...
