They are few and far between, but they do exist here in the US. Most are part of an attraction like laser tag, family fun centers, amusement parks, or malls. People would just love to get all in a tizzy about a profane pinball machine at the fun center. There is such a thing as an average arcade nowadays?
South Park pinball has a rating setting that can cut the profanities and it has cover ups for things on the playfield that could be obscene. That's exactly what didn't happen with South Park. It's in so many restauraunts / dive bars / family fun centers it's not even funny.
Well regardless, the quotes in South Park pinball really aren't that bad compared to quotes from Lebowski. Plus they are said in a "cartoony" fashion that obscures them bit. Lebowski drops loud f bombs every other word. The mother of all swear words. There's no getting around it if they plan to use quotes from the movie. It's gonna drop f bombs.Oh. In all the South Parks I've seen, they didn't adjust them...

Why haven’t you released the game design yet?
There are a few reasons for this: the licensing details took a long time and we also had to finish the deal with the production facility. We also would like to ask input from the pinball community to make a game we all love. Please be patient for just a little while longer. We promise that we will release the design and layout as soon as we can.
