I did that irl on a mustang le recently :) ...just to get the ball to the slings and perfectly draining the left outlane after that unreal save :(

But this was due to Sterns 'tilt grace period', where another tilt does not register for 1-2 seconds :)

Yeah right, this seems impossible on my iPad
Is the Tilt function turned off?

I've noticed with my controller, the analog sticks just don't allow for the same amount of "oomph" as just pressing the keys do. It's the same for the plunger as well as nudging. Try using a controller analog stick vs. the space bar when launching balls on tables such as BoP and Taxi, it's quite clear that the stick doesn't generate the same amount of power.

Therefore with the controller analog stick, you can pretty much get away with nudging all the time. My only gripe is with the asymmetrical design of the X360 controller, I got so used to the Dual Shock my left thumb is always in the wrong place.

Is there an analog controller for IOS that is compatible with TPA?

Actually, I find S2 tables a lot more punitive than S1 ones.

Especially these tables on which the ball goes straight to the outlanes, whatever the shot you take:

- Firepower, and this goddamn left outlane.
- Space Shuttle and this goddamn right outlane.
- I'm OK with Pin*Bot, though. I don't find the left outlane so greedy (unlike the PHOF version)

Centaur, TCP, DrD are tough too with outlanes, but you can prevent it most of the time with safe shots (unlike the tables above).

Finally, SDTM happens a lot on Whirlwind (the hardest table IMO, so far), F2K and Haunted House (because the ball has too much speed...).

Firepower left outlane? Nonononono, for me it's the right outlane. Done with the Wizard Goals now though so I'm unlikely to return for a while.

Cactus Canyon loop exits often causes ball to go SDTM. C'mon Farsight fix this issue!

You can mitigate the loop exit antics by nudging the ball towards the middle when it's coming out. At least on the left side the SDTM is caused by the ball sometimes hitting a feature on the way down, and that mitigates it. The same tactic can be used in a number of different tables, like the right side loop exit on ToM. Keeping the balls off the walls when they're coming down helps a lot in keeping control.

Yeah. Lack of ball save really makes it awful since it drains down the middle shortly after every plunge more often than not.
Tch, more often than not is right. I just can't keep it away from the side drains. Is this how its supposed to be?

HRC, drain issues aside, is going to frustrate me no end. Those Wizard Goals are... trying.

HRC does seem to be tweaked to be one of their harder tables, I needed a lot more nudging than normal to keep things out of the outlanes

On the other hand, people on this forum have been complaining about TPA being too easy. :D

The unbalanced scoring is more of a bugger, it's like Bonus X and the Casino Frenzy / Break the Bank super jackpots are the difference between 250M and 1B.
