well, I don't want to play forever but usually ball hits the post or rail or something, there is some indication that you are in danger. Even if you don't save it you can try. But here...... nothing. There's no time to react. I can only nudge before but that is pointless. I lost so many balls from slingshots or those damn chip targets that send them directly to outline.
I think that I'll play this one only when it shows up in tournament.

I think the outlanes are ok. You don't want to play forever. But I'm with you on the right orbit. It's driving me crazy.
GRRR me too! Last night I noticed that there was an update and a new version of this table was out. I was so hoping they fixed the angle on that right orbit. NOPE. Still impossible. It's SO FRUSTRATING to not be able to hit a shot that in reality is cake. This alone ruins the table for me.

A lot of times I nudge before it hits the slings. The top half of the slings are deadly. Keep it off of that part of the slings and you are usually ok. But there are sometimes where there is nothing you can do.

Yes, there is that bar, but what we're talking here is apparently well-directed balls with the requisite speed that go up the Slots ramp when Lock is lit, but still manage to hit something inside the Slot Machine, and come back down the ramp with typically the same effect as hitting the bar. The difference being that you can see the bar when neither Slots nor Lock is lit; when Lock is lit, there's nothing there, the ramp is down, the ball actually starts going through the Slot Machine and up the ramp, before bouncing back out.

I did have this happen to me twice last night during tournament play. Seems like an invisible piece right behind the open slot bar. Maybe a piece of broken plastic :) Tables getting the 'wear' engine? lol..

I do find this table challenging. I think the the sling action and out-lanes are more realistic then previous tables.
It plays more like a real life table banging around the ball on the slings right to the out-lanes.
Yes, the shot to the right orbit needs fixed badly, but overall I find this table a challenge over some of the other tables.

yeah those chip targets fling the ball right at the opposite outlane with little hope of a save. After you get the chip combo goal don't shoot them again. they are that bad.

well, I don't shoot them. But slingshots often do that. And trying that right orbit also ends up on right chip target quite often. And since 2 games are in the damn right orbit I have to try that shot, who knows, maybe I even manage to start casino frenzy before my battery runs out.......

One of the FS employees was kind enough to check their actual HRC pin they have in their offices for me. He confirmed that the right orbit is indeed a tight & tough shot. He said that he got best results from a trapped ball on the left flipper just like the TPA version. So I guess they made it true to their machine.
We'll just have to keep practicing.

It's more than just difficult. It's literally impossible. The coarseness of the physics in TPA leaves no possible trajectory for the ball to go up the right orbit from a trap on the left flipper. It can't be done except by starting from some other position than a full catch. Difficult is fine, impossible is not.

This has happened before in TPA, with the right orbit on Theatre and right ramp on AFM. Also unshootable from a trap so you have to work around it with a rolling shot.

Well obviously they didn't test it because it is IMPOSSIBLE to hit from a trapped left flipper. (^ vikingerik just said the same) The only way to hit it is on the fly, but only a certain way. The ball has to be traveling at the perfect speed. The most reliable technique I have found was mentioned earlier in this thread: do a post pass from the right flipper and as the ball rolls down the left, go for the orbit. This works about 1 out of 5 times, the other 4 times the ball hits something you don't want and goes out of control, usually leading to a drain. GRRRR

Like the viking said, difficulty is fine, impossible is not...very disappointing, FS.

If someone has found a better way to hit the right orbit, please post.

I can do it from a trap on the left flipper. But I can only hit it a very small percentage of the time. I'm talking iOS.
Are you guys, that are saying it is impossible, on android or PC?

I had a look. and it is true that the shot is narrower then you'd expect, because the poker bank blocks it.

that said, it shouldn't be this ridiculous. it's totally impossible on PC.

Hope this helps... Playing on iPhone 5s, and we've been over the fact that the ball needs to have some heat on it, so keeping that in mind... Practice hitting the Roll n Win ramp while Roll n Win isn't lit (or Roulette). It's tough because usually one of the two is lit. But with that extra gravity action of being directed to the inlane, it's way more doable. But it takes practice. I've found this makes it less impossible ;)

absolute easiest is to get the ball up the middle ramp lift the right flipper let it bounch over and then get to it with the left flipper. I believe I have more then 75 % success rate doing that as someone suggested. Will try a cradled right flipper. Don´t believe I ever made that shot to the right orbit lol. But I am not really after that I am after roll & win target ;)

I posted this in the tips/tricks thread
Hit it fast: right orbit
Hit it slightly slower: lit roll 'n win and or collect EB
Right flipper trap to right orbit: good find although I concur with Vikingerik that for an IRL cabinet that shouldn't work. Not a real easy shot though!
My best game up until now 2B, I burned a lot of EB's on that game. There is something that pulls me back into this pin, maybe I'm at risk for a "real" addiction" beside my pin cravings.... :)

For me it´s that super duper surprise. But this pin is so buggy. I just noticed that I lost one wizard goal so I am down to three. And my highest score is on a cheat 5 ball game but it still sticks though I currently only can run the standard setup as everything else bugs out.
