The table looks fantastic, but the ball is a little floaty. The plunger is also a little weak, and the biggest issue is the no "Ball Save" at the beginning of each turn. The local table in town has that on, so I thought that was a normal part of the game.

It really made things flow a lot better. :(

The Simpsons Pinball Party had no ball save when I played it. So yeah, pretty normal to have no ball save during the early 2000's Stern era.

Really? Hmmmmmmm.

We have a TSPP at our local arcade, but I don't remember if it had a ball save on or not? I'll have to check this weekend, but I definitely know that the HRC out here had one on.

Maybe it's specific to the designer, Keith P Johnson. All his pins I've played from that era, including TSPP and LOTR, have no ball save by default. I also noticed the slot machine multiball is similar to LOTR's ROTK multiball. Or is it TTT? I can never remember. The one where Gimli needs to take a chill pill.

Been spending a lot of time with this pin. It is tough, but I keep coming back for more. If I can break 2B, I think I'll be satisfied. But it's too drainy to have any guarantee of a good game. But I still come back. I think it's because, theoretically, it only needs a few shots to activate the wizard mode. But due to the chance element, and the difficult shots, it's not so simple. But the allure of getting that perfect round is always there. Kind of like real gambling, I suppose.

spongy flippers - floaty ball - bleh.. maybe it's because I just bought the newly released zen core pack on ps3 and had a long game on each of those tables and there after opened up this table .. very disappointing physics ( not starting a zen vs TPA physics debate ) just saying ..

I don't know what I'm doing, but I like the sound fx, it seems to be top tier there. I don't think much of the music but the rest is great.
