No-One gets to go anywhere near Karl's place until after he has adopted me as his Big Brother in law. The terms, again, were that I would sleep on the couch and eat all the food, in addition to making sure his pinball machines don't get lonely.

I'm not a huge Medieval Madness fan, but that machine is flat out beautiful! Really great collection karl. Thanks for sharing. I can look at pictures of pins all day. Almost as fun as playing them.

Thanks Kolchak357 and Jeff. White Water is in storage at my club house for the moment, waiting to have a new playfield and new decals installed.

I also bought a new enhanced playfield for LOTR but I am not in any hurry to install it yet

Today will be more work: Install a color dmd on MM, new plexiglass backboard with led strip on Shadow and lots of mods on TZ

I've played a MM with a color DMD and it adds so much to the game. Well worth the price to upgrade IMO.
I don't like a lot of mods but the color DMD's are super.

I agree with you that Mods can be a hit or miss, Kolchak.

What I have found is that mirror blades, color DMD, backboard decals (in most cases) and better speaker systems enhance every machine.
When it comes to toys; Some are good, others are horrible. Some machines look good with a few extra ditties, other machines become much to crowded

If a machine was supposed to have something in it but it was removed for cost reasons, I will do my best to get them. Like flashers in the door panels on TZ. And speaking of TZ, I went a little nuts buying toys to that particular machine,
but to me, TZ is one of the few machines that screams "give me more toys" to me. I don't know why.

TZ has so much going on already visually that you can cram a lot in there without making it look bad, whereas simpler machines with cleaner playfields only will take a few mods before they fall into the abyss of bad taste.

I have just sent in an order for a detonator flash light mode and a trc mode also. Something to look forward to in late October when I will have to put another pin in storage to make room for another toy I really could not afford but could not resist. I have even put my car up for sale, just hoping I am able to sell it before the bill from my pinball seller comes knocking on my door.

PS! And this madness is coming to an end soon. Just got word that my virtual cabinet will arrive on the 7th of October also and my small apartment can't handle any more toys. What a crazy and expensive (but fun) year it has been.

Next year will be only bread and water (and the occasional alcoholic beverage) for me

Ooooh! AC/DC is fantastic. Easily my favorite modern Stern pin. I've seen a very cool cannon mod for it. I'll post a pic if I can find it.

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the AC/DC for long...but am i reading correctly that you're selling your car to get it? I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but that seems a bit extreme to me.
