So who's feeling my pain right now?

I must have played this table over 200 times. I can start a mission with my eyes closed. I frequently get to the fifth mission... where I routinely get my ass kicked!

Arrrrrggggghhhhh!

And a couple of times in the last day I have gotten to the fifth mission on ball #1...only to lose four drains later.

I finally gave up and went to YouTube to see the finale... but it looks like nobody has posted it on YouTube!

Curse you Rob-O-Bot!!!!! Serenity now!!!

That was me for like a week before I broke through. I had a mental block or something! Keep at it and you will get it. Very cool when you do. :)

Got to mission 5 on the first ball again. Then two instant drains. Third ball did the trick though... finally!!!

It basically took learning every trick and angle on this table, to maximize every shot and reduce the chances for drains. Oh, and losing so many times that I stopped freaking out when I'd get to mission 5.

I basically stopped caring that I might lose again. :p

All the trouble... worth it! Although I have some suggestions for a more gruesome ending... maybe in a sequel! :D

I bought Revenge of the Rob-O-Bot last month after seeing this thread. Fun game I am ranked 432nd place on iOS leaderboard with a high score of 5,211,000.

Man, I love this table. Graphics and physics are solid and best of all, readability is way up compared to most other tables.
Only been getting into this now because my old Galaxy S-II would simply choke on this game. Just got a S-4 and now it's buttery smooth. Plus perfect screen size and resolution. Such a shame this didn't sell better on Android. Then again, entering "pinball" in the play store brings this up as number 154. No one will ever randomly find this.

Looking forward to the good news, would insta buy a new table from them. This time with local high-score please.

Any idea why Rob-o-bot Android is running like a dog, Anders? Both netizen (no longer on the boards) and I have experienced slow-down after about 1 minute.

Do you guys still control Rob-o-Bot on Android, or is Nena pulling the strings on future updates for this particular title on Android?

I'll ask Nena to have a look at it.

We do this together. Nena do all the coding, we (Color Monkey) do all the table design/sounds/graphics/missions/QC etc, but we take decisions together.

We rather make a highly polished iOS title first and then release a highly polished title on Android later. The option is to release an iOS version and then not focusing on fixing any bugs/making tweaks first but instead start porting it to Android and neglect the already released iOS version. In hindsight, I think we released the Android version too early the last time.

I feel your grief, but it's the reality we live in.

That's good to hear you collaborate on the game. Focusing on your strengths is important for maximum effectiveness in today's market.

And while I am disappointed it isn't on Android, I agree it's a good move to hold it back. For the record, this is exactly what A.S.K. Homework has done with their Zaccaria collection. They have done most of the heavy lifting on iOS and have taken a lot of beta tester feedback on board. They are now ready to port to Android, knowing that the real hard work is behind them.

I know you'll get there eventually. And those of us in Android land will be waiting, fist-clutching bills ready to slap them against the screens of our tablets and phones with eagerness.

Should we create a new Sub forum For APC and Rob-o-bot. Also a new thread for APC so all these cool screenshots wont be missed?

I'll get onto Gord Lacey and have him set one up under this sub-forum.

Perhaps we should rename this forum into DigitalPinballFans! :) TPA, Zaccaria, APC, perhaps soon Pro Pinball as well..? You know, this is not just about TPA anymore, things are evolving.

Okay, created a "Color Monkey" subsection, and moved all the APC posts from here into a new thread, then did a little dance (just because).
