Really pleased to see that SAFE CRACKER has received some love. Providing Farsight implement the token feature correctly (if they even offer it in the future) it will be a fine pack inclusion.

I'd go so far as to say if FarSight couldn't do the tokens justice, then don't make the game.

(please don't call my bluff!)

I actually have two ways they could do tokens. The first would be to have them be like wizard goals, where you need to collect them all to beat it. The second would be to have them appear in the 'extras' section of that table alone. Each time you earn one, a new token is unlocked, until you have them all. After playing many a Mario and currently Donkey Kong games, and seeing how obsessed my son is with unlocking absolutely every extra there is, I think this is the way to go.

Interesting ideas on implementation.

Because the tokens are issued purely randomly, it might be a bit tricky to have them as wizard goals. However having a space for each token in the extras menu greyed out could be a great way to motivate you to "catch them all".

They are necessary though. Otherwise the game is incomplete as they would unlock a special mode. Yet another unique and awesome aspect of the game.

FarSight could really do one better, and that is after you unlock all the tokens, you get a special Safe Cracker ball! Of course by doing that, you lose all your tokens and have to earn them again. Kind of like how with the real machine you could feed the tokens back into the game for more game play.

The poll standings for this poll are now hidden for the duration of the poll series. The Top Ten Most Wanted Bally Tables, as voted by the pinball community, will be revealed on Friday September 6, 2013.

Not gonna go through my picks, but I wanted to mention some vote totals that surprised me.

Pleasant surprises - Black Rose & Who Dunnit. I didn't realize these two were that popular.

Bummer Surprises - Medusa & Fathom. I thought these would be up at the very top. Classic art and gameplay. If you loved Centaur you will love these two. Stunned by their low vote totals. Maybe they are too old school.

Not surprised but sad - I knew Evel Knievel wouldn't get many votes, but I so loved it as a kid.

Edit: Should have read Jim's post first. Looks like we both love Fathom & Medusa.

Add me to that list. Love those tables and voted for both

In nearly two months? :S

Where did you guys see the results? I'm insanely curious to see what tables are in the top.

If you clicked on "view poll results" yesterday you would have seen them. As of now they are hidden again so clicking that won't show you anything anymore.

No ATLANTIS?
Been playing TEKKEN REVOLUTION its free on PSN and has an interesting timed credit feature, you use credits that are earned from time up to 5 when they're gone you have to wait a set amount of time 20 minutes per credit or you can buy more on PSN this would be good for tournaments.

Here are my picks. So many of those early 80's tables look great to me. I got it down to 18 then it was really hard for me to trim it down to the final 10. I just got to play Judge Dredd, Mata Hari, Space Invaders and Xenon for the first time yesterday at CA Extreme.

Black Rose
Eight Ball Deluxe
Elektra
Embryon
Fireball II
Flash Gordon
Mata Hari
Paragon
Space Invaders
Xenon

These are the 8 that didn't make my final:
Evil Knieval
Fathom
Future Spa
Indianapolis 500
Judge Dredd
Medusa
Spectrum
World Cup Soccer

Corvette and Indy 500 would probably both be easy to license, so I voted for those. Safecracker looks interesting, so I voted for that too. And with a new World Cup tournament next year, getting World Cup '94 in makes sense. Who Dunnit, Black Rose, Judge Dredd Party Zone, all of 'em look nice. Voted for Space Invaders, although that may take some licensing, but that should be easy.

Man, I wish it was possible to get Revenge from Mars in here, it would be nice to have that one in there, but the technical complexity...

Ha, my uncle had a "Silverball Mania" table when I was younger... I grew up on that one. I'd LOVE to see it on my PS3. Talk about reliving the past.
