Wow! A friends leaderboard is going to make the game so much more fun. The one thing that people had been asking for for years and Tom just comes in and does it, with bells on! I salute you sir. It does say a lot about how little Farsight cared about us prior to this though.
From what I'm reading the work you've been doing is superb Tom. I live in England though so nothing has happened here. Please could you tell me when we are likely to get the end of season six and everthing else over here?

Thanks Tom for all of your hard work. I actually went and bought all of the remaining seasons on the PS4.

Bugs that I've noticed:
- Both Elvira and Fireball crash at start up.
- High Speed's sound effects are sped up for some reason, while the music is fine.

And don't act like you wouldn't be mad if I delayed it another month or two to fix bugs. If you have bugs that you want me to fix, list them here, but complaining won't improve the product.

First, the vast majority appreciates your hard work and your approach of fast release schedules. Don't forget people have been neglected for a long time and "once a bug, always a bug" was the order of the day. It'll take a while to get used to the bright summer sunshine after many years of winter.

Second, to keep track of bugs, PiN WiZ has a sticky PS4 Master Bug List. Maybe he, or another volunteer that has the time, will be able to continue this and bring this up-to-date. And get that "1.08" out of the title, of course :)

Thanks for the support everyone. Just wanted to get my story out once.

Really quick question though: so I've been changing the lighting so that the slider actually makes a big difference. 0 is off and 100 is close to blown out. When you guys express your disappointment with the lighting, what do you refer to? Do you refer to how it looks with default values (the percentages) or how the lighting looks when it's 100. I'm assuming you refer to how it looks at 100. I'm just asking before I've changed all 90 some tables and realized I didn't do it properly.

Anyways, here's an update on the bugs I fixed so far since 1.20, so no one has to mention them anymore:

-Fixed Elvira and the Party Monsters crash
-Highscores are being properly read in now
-Lighting settings are being properly read in
-Bulb brightness saves now
-Fireball doesn't crash on loadup

Well, for me, it seems that the lights are blaring intensely and can't be turned down to something more normal. If there are words on the lights, they get blazed out when the light is on and I can't turn the brightness down enough to fix that. Room brightness seems to work fine, just not the bulb brightness levels.

Are the light problems per table? Look at the back panel (spider wheel) in Scared Stiff. The bottom of that screen ... those three lights should be off.

Even with the lights on this table at 5%, all the lights are bright.

This is pretty much a problem on all tables, and it's already been noted by PiN-WiZ. Please do not list them all.

Do t fight the tide tom people will not read in general their complaint is the one! Stick to linwiz thread we can bump them upto him, even as a non owner youve peaked my interest in the on going efforts. Keep up the great wrk and commication and take comments with a pinch of salt, and maybe some chlli

Tom, it's not the same on all of the tables. Cirqus Voltaire looks good and lights are reasonable. Creature from the Black Lagoon has this really weird bright light in the lower playfield. In Scared Stiff, it's too bright throughout but the backfield/spider wheel has a glaring problem. "Pretty much a problem on all tables" signals to me that there's going to be pretty much a general fix and specific issues not mentioned won't be looked at.

Do you want these elsewhere? If so, where?

Not a PS4 owner (PC Master Race! So when do we get the "Just beat friend xxx popups"?!), but it needs to be remembered that not everyone will be using the same TV, or the same TV set up. So what might look great on default settings for one player on their TV, might be horrible for someone else.

Cactus Jack's : The orange and yellow signs above the right ramp have too much reflection to where they are unreadable.

High Roller Casino : Both slingshot plastics have too much reflection to where the artwork is no longer visible.

Haunted House : The pop bumpers are not lit.

Lighting Fix

@HiHat

I really wanted to ignore this, and this might seem petty, but I wanted to get this out there. When Pinball Arcade PS4 came into my hands, it was 6-7 months behind. It's taken me about 4 months to try to catch it up while working on bugs on PS4, PS3, and Vita all the while actually learning everything about the engine and submission process. I felt a large amount of pressure from the fans and my coworkers to catch up the PS4, and I have finally managed to. It's unfortunate that there are bugs, but this is what happens when I was trying to get the product out as fast as possible. Now that I'm caught up, it'll be much easier to start fixing a lot of the existing bugs and any bugs that I might've accidentally introduced. And don't act like you wouldn't be mad if I delayed it another month or two to fix bugs. If you have bugs that you want me to fix, list them here, but complaining won't improve the product.

In general though, lighting seems like it isn't too consistent based on everyone's reactions. Instead of the solution where I tried to fix every table's lighting with one solution, I will be going to every single table and adjusting the min and max values for the lighting. I will mainly be focusing on bulb brightness, but if ambient sticks out, I will also tune that. In addition to this, I will make sure the bulb brightness slider range is much better than it was, so if you prefer a table to be a bit brighter or darker, you can choose so. The range on the tables I've already adjusted has been small. The new range on the tables should pretty much be what PiN-WiZ suggested: 0 is pretty much turned off and 100 is close to blown out.

Tom, please restore the program's ability to remember the lighting settings we select from one play session to the next. Having to re-enter the settings every time is a real drag... Thank you.

And I'm sorry if it sounds as if I'm dumping all my frustration on you, but you must consider that the bug-ridden updates have been a given on the TPA releases for several years now, long before you came aboard.

It's especially frustrating when an update makes one or more existing tables completely unplayable, as seems to have happened with Elvira and Fireball...

Some tables have the lighting on the backglass blown out like Scared Stiff and Lights...Camera...Action just to name a few and some tables have the actual cutouts (inserts) on the playfield blown out to where you can't see/read the textures on them when they are lit like on The Getaway : High Speed II and I'm not sure changing the bulb brightness will affect the lighting on the backglass or cutouts. There are more tables with these issues but I'll need time to go through them all which won't be til this weekend.
