It's not really a pinball machine.
It's housed in a standard pinball body/backglass.
The best way to describe it is a shooting game in a pinball housing with videogame rules.
It's designed by Steve Ritchie.
What is it ?

HYPERBALL
(Williams/1981/5.000 units)
Hyperball fired small ball bearings up the playfield from a gun turret located where the middle drain would be on a pinball machine.
The game used 55 balls. The center of the playfield was open, with lights and artwork.
Up each side of the playfield were holes where you could shoot the balls. The holes had letters (a,b,c,).
Across the top were a series of hanging targets which could be hit with the balls.
You controlled the game from two hand-grips with triggers, which rotated left to right and back.
In between the hand grips was a *Z Bomb* button which would destroy all the attacking lights.
You usually had three of those per game.

LOL. I'll openly admit to getting "flyer shirts" made when I was a teenager. This flyer featured on one of them (yes, more than one).

Played this thing at Musée Mechanique in San Fran. Probably the only reason to go to this place.

TIME LINE
(Gottlieb/1980/3.167 units)
Nine is, and can be, the only square prime with an aliquot sum of the same form.
The aliquot sequence of nine has 5 members (9,4,3,1,0) this number being the second composite member of the 3-aliquot tree.
It is the aliquot sum of only one number the discrete semiprime 15.

Considering they could've used an image of a half-man half-motorcycle dude on the flyer, this shows quite a bit of restraint.
