Would LOVE to see the PS3 EYETOY used for the 3D effect like that BAM FP video.
DarkAkatosh FS installs 2 DLC trophies per update but that doesn't mean we'll see them immediately.

Do you remember where they said that? Also, did they give more detail on how the 3D is being implemented? I wonder if they are spending time on each table to maximize the effect or if they are just running all the tables through a 3D renderer.

I assume they aren't charging for this or making it part of Pro Mode. I want to check out some of the tables in 3D, but I don't think I'd pay for it.

They said it at the Milwaukee show which I covered in the General topics area. No charge for 3D. I played a few of the tables in 3D and they all looked fine to me but I was told that they were still making adjustments. It sounded like they had a way to make adjustments per table. I think the reason you'd want to do this is because the scale and angles vary a little on each table and because whenever you are working conceptually in a 3D space but in reality are in 2D, weird things can happen. Perception problems can pop up that need to be fixed.

Not that I think there's any real chance they'll change the tables for this or any reason, but I see a lot of people assuming this will happen. What exactly would they change in the tables to "maximize the effect"? Camera angles?

Well, when converting 2D to 3D you can chose which graphics you want and "how close" you want it to appear.
For example you'd want the ramps to appear higher than the main table for maximum effect and nice depth.

Zen does it very well with some tables (PVZ), but it doesn't look as good on others.

I just hope since they are doing it with some care and not just doing it for the sake of matching one of Zen's features.

They aren't converting from 2D to 3D. The game is programmed in a 3D space. You can see this just by looking at the table while changing camera angles. However there are still things to tweak when making the game for stereoscopic 3D viewing.

Yeah, I meant coverting to stereoscopic 3D, I know the game has 3D objects, polys, etc.

Minor bug on TOTAN. When starting the rescue the princess mode the DMD completely disappears and will not come back inless you re-boot the entire program.

I got to the genie battle while playing for the tournament and didn't have that problem. Are you sure you didn't accidentally hit Triangle, which toggles the DMD on/off?

My daughter and I were giving my wife a hard time for hitting the triangle randomly while playing. She kept insisting that she wasn't. "Suuuuuure!" we'd reply sarcastically until one day I used her controller because mine was charging and I didn't want to use it on the cord. Turns out her controller had a short or something and sometimes when you hit the left analog stick the triangle button would be activated as well! My daughter and I went to the store and got my wife a replacement controller as way of an apology! :D

I had a controller that did that, too! It was driving me nuts for a while, particularly because Triangle for some reason also unpauses the game if you leave it paused : o

One of my controllers behaves in that manner, if you squeeze or twist it, random camera lock, camera changes and dmd on/off occurs. This might be (is) the result of me throwing the controller full force into the floor while playing a fighting game, also I think that this is why the left stick keeps coming loose (the plastic broke around it so I had to remove it). :p

Hmmm...I am pretty sure I didn't hit triangle. Even if I did wouldn't pressing it again restore it? Because I tried that and it still wouldn't come back on. I had no issues with other modes, so for the sake of the program I will recreate the circumstances again and see what happens.

Yeah, hitting Triangle again should bring it back.

Was it this update where they removed the "Space carpeting"?
Cause man, that is a really low resolution textured wood floor underneath!

I'm pretty sure they are just reusing textures from the Android/iOS versions and that kind of sucks. :(
I know it's not THAT important, but I'd rather just have blackness than a poor looking wood floor.

Hopefully they will change it the same time they change the terrible looking Smart Phone PS3 selection menu

Ever since 2.09 and 2.10 I have had some freezing issues with the new UI. One day I was playing Big Shot and went up instead of down to get to Theater Og Magic and upon pressing the start button the whole program locked up. Last night it did the same thing with CC. It almost seems random, because most of the time there are no issues whatsoever. It's even happened before the ne UI to me so I think this might be a known issue. What causes this? Memory leak or something? But at least it doesn't lock up the whole system to the point you have to do a hard re-boot. I just pressed the power button once and it double beeped me, but did not start up the File Restore feature.

Still as of 2.10 the bottom ball lock sometimes will not eject the ball in multiball on BK. I actually went back to play it since they added GI and some sound. Long story short I beat the last standard goal I needed to beat (1,000,000 points) and 2-balll multi-ball was supposed to start but it just kept trying to eject the ball on the lower lock and it stuck. Problem is I got the trophy and all my standard goals are checked off, but because I had to exit the whole program no Wizard Mode goals show up. Should I try beating the last goal again? Because I am not erasing my save file for this.
