I STILL don't get why HD was so poorly recieved. It's not a bad game at all. It has some good shots, drop targets, and lots of multiball. It's not really complicated or anything, but I don't have any major complaints about it. I think most people were just surprised that they chose it over more "obvious" tables and just bash it out of spite.

Bally's HD is supposed to be better than Sega/Stern's from what I've heard, though.

I just hate the theme. I would have done something totally different with a motorcycle themed game. I think they were going for an "Easy Rider" kinda vibe but failed even at that. I'd like to hear from an actual Harley Davidson fan though if the pinball table appeals to them or not.

I think I'm more of a weird 80's mutant punk biker (like japanese crotch rockets) gang type of person than a HD person. Hmm... I guess I was thinking of Road Avenger mostly while I was typing that!

And on that note, I'll have to give Centaur more play time if I get Season 2 for Xmas. :)

Harley-Davidson 3rd Edition isn't necessarily bad in all respects. Some parts are pretty neat. I like the cross-country tour aspect. The two things about that table that just kill it for me are the ridiculous and boring video mode, and the terrible voice over. "Hey, nice try." Really? :p. All that said, FarSight did a good job with the table and I at least occasionally play every table in the collection, even HD3E and GN.

Junkyard: yihaa!
BK2K: yihaa!
Whodunnit: mwaaa...

If only they topped of Season 3 with PARTY ZONE, that would be a blast!

I'm curious to try Party Zone! I'm one of like 5 people on this forum that actually like Dr. Dude I think..

I'm not a fan of motorcycles in general, but I still think it's an ok game.

By the way, the Japanese aren't the only ones who make "crotch rocket" type bikes. Ducati (Italian), Triumph (British), and even BMW (German) make sport bikes too.

Sure, I'm not really all that knowledgeable about it, I just think of Honda/Kawasaki/Ninja when I think of motorcycles. I just meant I prefer that style of motorcycle over the HD style.

Ninja is a type of Kawasaki.

Also, Honda and Kawasaki (as well as the companies I mentioned) make "HD style" bikes as well. The term for these is cruiser.

It has a fairly good and balanced rule sheet. It gives more ways to play than just a single repetitive ramp shot. The rules are more skillbased than most others. The video mode is annoying and too easy to start.

The new season seems to be "early 90s Bally Williams" only.

I like Dr dude as well, don't know what most people have against this table...

Well, let me try :) It's a stupid, irritating, infantile theme with corresponding irritating music, speech and sound effects. The basic ruleset is boring and although I must conceed that the Mix-Master is a nice toy on the table, that does not make up for the rest. The artwork is ugly. There are no comfortable shots, every one is slightly off (for me) and that results in a lot of interrupted flow and drains. But that could be me, stinking it up :) And then there is the absurd high HOF score requirements that plagues more season 2 tables. So to get a few points more, you have to endure a lot more time playing this table. Offcourse, this could al be sour grapes because I stink at playing it...but then again, I also stink on Champion Pub, but I still like that table.

I think you've found the right person to talk to, Party Zone is one of my favorite early 90s DMD games. It's funny, crazy, and overall just plain fun to play. You might also noticed that my username is Captain B. Zarre, which shows you much I love it. ;) #BringPartyZoneToPinballArcade

You've just described nearly every licensed Data East, and modern licensed Stern I have played.

Bigger question is "Will this be the last season of TPA?" Because if so you can count tables like High Speed as certainties, yet if they're stretching to Season 4 then obviously High Speed will be delayed until then.

Unless they do High Speed near the end of this season and put The Getaway as part of Season 4

The new season seems to be "early 90s Bally Williams" only.

I think they have some 80's Bally/Williams in there as well. And if Season 3 ended up 80%-100% 80's and 90's Bally/Williams, I would be ecstatic. Almost all the tables I am still most looking forward to fall into that group. High Speed (first and foremost), Black Knight 2000 (already confirmed, yay!), F-14 Tomcat, Red & Ted's Roadshow, Earthshaker, High Speed II: The Getaway, Cyclone, Jack*Bot.... If they pick off several of those (especially High Speed) this season, it will scratch all of my biggest itches with the collection.

I suspect we'll see a Season 4 (and probably beyond) as the mobile platforms still seem to be going gangbusters, plus, they've just spent a ton of time re-building the game for PS4. I can't believe they'd put in all that effort just for the two existing seasons plus ten more tables, and then call it quits. The only way Season 3 is the last season is if their sales somehow crater over the year, but the reviews the game has gotten and the continued new breadth of platforms it's available on indicate to me the user base is just growing.

And, yes. High Speed coming in Season 3 (even at the end) will make this one extremely happy customer. XD .

Zen have been doing pinball platforms for seven years, and is only getting more popular. No reason for FS to be any different - there may be upgrades and renaming, but if the money's there of course they're going to continue.

I shook the Magic 8 Ball and it says "All signs point to no". They have said at different points (mainly Bobby King but a couple others) that they wished to do approximately 100 tables and that they definitely had at least 2-3 more seasons. Perhaps at that time the plan was to still do 2 tables per pack unless a premium. Now that it is one tabl per pack, I would guess 4-5 more seasons, perhaps more. Of course all bets are off if it doesn't sell well. Need to make money to pay for costs, of course. Plus season 3 and the debut on Steam, PS4 and X-Bone will only boost their presence. There is definitely a huge opportunity to increase userbase and make some serious cash.
