I'd take this table over T2 kickstarter any day. I think T2 is a historically important table, but as far as fun, it's got nuthin' on the Simpsons.

Just watched a few videos, we definitely need this in TPA!. Get the kickstarter going!

As I'm getting to know certain peoples preferences from this board (and specifically looking at the machines you personally acquired), I think you'd absolutely love the table.

Considering the legacy (most licensed Simpsons stuff being so middling, as well as most licensed Stern stuff not being outstanding either) I initially dismissed it as another "generic licensed Stern table" without ever looking into it (even knowing its spot on IPDB). But as soon as the ball plunged I really loved it. The license is used perfectly.

Frankly, I think Simpsons would sell better than T2. I certainly know which one I would rather Play!

Have we had a poll for next kickstarter yet? I'd be surprised if we haven't. Obviously you'd have to leave Addams Family out of it, maybe the poll should be for the next realistically viable kickstarter.

I come here to make this exact point and the first unread post has it covered.
Yes, normally, Simpsons licensed products are essentially tripe (Except Bart's Nightmare, i don't care what anyone says that game was awesomes).
I had written off this table as being just licensed crap and after playing it I realized it was a huge mistake on my part.

Also probably a lot more expensive than T2.

I wouldn't assume this. The popularity of the Simpsons has waned considerably, and given the number of characters, there are relatively few voice actors involved. Arnie on the other hand, just he could cost quite some ducats.

Ok, I wouldn't bother with TSPP at the bowling alley right now - heck even touch any buttons! TOO LOUD! (What's even more unfortunate is that the operator doesn't lower the volume on the game.)

I'm also itching to try out new tables (not ones recently made, but games I haven't actually played yet), but who knows when the games will be switched out.

I've been begging Farsight for both Simpsons tables since before TPA was announced.
I think it could very well be there most successful Kickstarter to date if they choose to go that route.

They should try to snag both tables in a licensing deal. I realize there are quite a few licenses to be paid for this one (Fox, Matt Groening, Gracie Films, Fox, voice actors, Danny Elfman), but I think it's doable if Star Trek TNG was.

From what I've heard Matt Groening is a big pinball fan too, so maybe that will help?

I have a lot of fond memories from the first Simpsons Pinball table in 1991 and haven't been able to play it in many years and I've never had the chance to even play the second table yet so that would be great as well.

I think these tables would fill a void in the TPA roster and should definitely be considered ASAP

Perhaps we should start a petition?

Finally, I beat the default #4 score of 25,000,000 by a mere 3.8 million. I really hope the operator doesn't wipe out my score AGAIN, and the fact that IT'S STILL LOUD.

I got the game yesterday and i have to say that this is a game that would fit perfect in tpa. I will probably never teach the Super Duper Mega Extreme Wizare mode on the real machine, it would still be hard in tpa but doable.

I would prefer that this game gets a kick starter before T2.

I gotta win the lottery, there's so many pins I want to own. Would love one of these, well done Tom.
