Hey Evil Knievel would work for a Halloween pack. If you ever watched his jumps and other stunts back in the day.......SUPER OUCH!!!! He brought horror to a whole new level.

"Evil--how do you feel right now after that spectacular crash"? "Well Howard I broke my arm in 6 places, 4 ribs, my collar bone, and I also broke both legs and shattered my hip". "Oh...I lost 4 teeth too". "Other than that I feel great, and can't wait to try this jump again in the future"! "I will be back in a few months and I will jump a swimming pool of Great White sharks that haven't been fed in a month and a half". :D

Could we please stop mentioning "Evel Knievel"? Only 1 person here brought it up in a major "swing & a miss" table pack guess, and I'm afraid of FS thinking there's buzz on the forum for that table. Which there isn't.

LOL. I think FS know sarcasm just fine. I have been privately chatting back and forth with some of FarSight's dev's and they have a great sense of humour and I know they would totally get it. I don't think there will be a rush to produce EK for TPA. LOL

-1 for not understanding every mention of it was humour. ;)

Well, since I figured FS doesn't have time to troll this whole forum, I feared that someone might do a quick search or something and see the constant name pop up without reading the context.

I can wait until October for Haunted House ;)

For now, I can play it on my very old copy of Microsoft Pinball Arcade...

I'm glad to see so much chatter about HH!!!!!!!

Ya. I get it. I would not want that table at all dude. Just trying to add some Sunday fun into it. Truthfully though....I won't be mentioning that table a single time more. It totally sucked! I played it once and wanted my quarter back. LOL

It's too bad the physics are so rubbery and the ball moves so slow for MSA's version of HH. I played it last night again, and WOW....do you ever respect TPA's version of ball and flipper physics. :)

You'd be surprised, it's a SS machine with the look of a classic EM that looks incredibly fun to play. Whilst it may have gained a little notoriety with the last guessing game, it isn't a joke option either.

It was one of the first I picked in the Bally poll because the theme and playfield meshes together so well: there's an incentive to hit the loop more often than usual and the claustrophobic pop bumper placement would keep the ball rattling about for a while without being a total drain hazard.

Plus the bells and the Americana theme! It's like the best bits of Big Shot and Central Park mixed in together without stupid flipper placements.

EDIT: If you REALLY want a joke pinball table with a terrible theme to mess with people, how about Dolly Parton Pinball?

hey Captain DMD games are solid state, DMD is just the display. If its not SS its an EM (Electro Mechanical)

Personally, I've had enough of the solid-states for this season. So far, five out of the thirteen tables so far have been them, and while they are fun, I'm a big DMD fan... Only four tables with those have been released. Then again Addams is likely coming out in December, so there's something to look forward to.

I think we have to consider the quality of the DMDs coming out, and not just the quantity. Obviously, some of the best came out in the first season. Addams Family will certainly add quality to the current season, and also be a crowd pleaser.

And Mick is dead on with his comments.

If it was T'eed Off and Diner, I think that would be one of the best surprises ever.

The HH thing could be a troll. Then next month FS releases HH and Tales from the Crypt so people aren't too upset.

Hey, it could happen.

I'm one of the Evel Knievel supporters around here. Guilty as charged. Evel was a hero to almost every kid back then. We all jumped over stuff with our bicycles trying to be him. I really enjoy pins of that era. I also like Dolly Parton, Captain Fantastic, Charlie's Angels, Kiss, Close Encounters, and a bunch more. I know they are not most people's cup of tea but I enjoyed them growing up and still do today. I don't expect them to show up in table pack 18, 19, or 20. But I still hold out hope that one or two will show up somewhere along the road to represent that style and era of pinball machines.

Your theory doesn't make sense to me. The newsletter hint clearly points to Teed Off and Haunted House. I don't think FS would create that hint then surprise us with something that isn't the answer to the hint.

They took the area I highlighted and reversed it. Well my highlight is off a bit but you get the idea...
