You will get no clues from me you CSI sleuthing bastards! But if you listen to the BlahCade and know my taste in pins, the list can be narrowed. I certainly popped a chubby hearing the title.
I say Banzai Run.
Just a gut feeling.
May your gut feeling be correct!
My perception of that game has been ruined from that tedious hunt for the 3M-goal so I couldn't even judge that in an honest way. I just really dislike the Gottlieb tables.
So, #39 will be a cool title, ey? It HAS to be The Shadow then. All the clues point to that! All the clues, as in all my wishful thinking while looking at the non-existing clues.
Dissenting opinion here. Banzai Run has a cool gimmick, but it really doesn't make for interesting gameplay. Every trip to the upper playfield is just to make the same dull sequence of stop-and-go shots. It plays like Victory, which isn't a ringing endorsement. I predict you Banzai Run fans will be about as satisfied as us High Speed fans were.May your gut feeling be correct!
Although it's hard to see what Gottlieb would be getting Mike excited.

I'll throw a hopeful vote behind Safe Cracker as well.
I think the most likely scheme is a Gottlieb non-DMD for #39, then Getaway as #40 to close the season and drive sales as a premium DMD, like BSD did. Although it's hard to see what Gottlieb would be getting Mike excited.
Banzai Run is nothing like Victory. The only common factor is a) It's a race theme b) they both uses steel balls and flippers. Banzai Run might not be the most advanced table out there but personally I find it to be a blast to play
No, please, there is so much more interesting tables(road show, judge dredd....). I dont wana hurt nobody taste.
I mean the backbox playfield plays like Victory, you just make the same sequence of stop-and-go shots every time. There's more to the game overall, but not a lot more.
