Oh, and yes, it's very obvious that FarSight is focusing what little resources they have on SPA. Not saying they shouldn't because that is where their future lays in digitizing pinball. Just a shame if they don't recognize some of the rare titles in the effort that they started before TPA is done.

i would like to see at least 2 more seasons before obernalite gives tpa the chopsocky

Or, if they're really interested in "preserving pinball", how about getting photos and game play of Gottlieb's insanely rare prototype of Krull and digitizing that.

Having actually played it before, I can say it's not worth the effort. Not unless you bundle it with other failed prototypes like Pinball Circus, Wizard Blocks, or Zingy Bingy. There's just not a lot there rule wise to keep you interested more than a few games worth. It's kinda like when you come across an Orbitor 1, where you kinda HAVE to play it to say you did. Unfortunately that's where the conversation ends!

The Krull movie is a childhood guilty pleasure of mine so that makes a difference to me. Also, they did Goin' Nuts and that game sucks. I have to played Orbitor 1 and, yes, it's a novelty. Krull's real issue is the code didn't look complete but, at least, it's a normal pinball game unlike the aforementioned two.

PS. I hope it's Rollergames...for your sake. :p

I don't get all the hate for Gladiators. It's a fun table!

And it has given me hope for SPECIAL FORCE someday!!!

I was thinking Harlem Globetrotters on Tour...
It is 7.6 / 10 on IPDB, (in the fun rating...) and I heard that it's considered terrible around here.
I was looking at the hint...

It's not a terrible game, really, but it's another Premiere and that's pretty rough coming so soon after Bone Busters.

I think most of us are just bummed about all those unloved System 11s out there.

I don't know...Gladiators has a Pinside rating under 7.

But so does High Roller Casino, and that's one of my top five favorite TPA tables! No joke!

So I hope this is a pleasant surprise as well--especially since, like HRC, it's also from Jon Norris. Man, such a shame he got so disillusioned with pinball after working with Stern...

And hey, Zelda fan here. Will be cool to see what might have been.

Eh, I actually requested Gladiators once too. It's a pretty decent table, as far as Premieres go. But I can't help but feel disappointed after 4 Gottlieb tables i na row.

I think that's it. Spaced out, there would be a lot less grumbling.

If I'm reading the clue correctly for the new table in December, it's going to be Gladiators. The guys in the clue pic look like American Gladiators. Thoughts?

That was absolutely a pic from American Gladiators. I still love the old show as much as I did when I was a kid--greatest athletic game show of all time.

The Hulk Hogan revival was okay, but didn't work as well as the original did.

Gladiators is a machine with a bizarre history, according to its designer, Jon Norris. It's discussed earlier in the thread.

Right. Everyone is saying it's going to be A.G. Soccer. I took a look at some YouTube demos of that table and I don't see how there's any way they could do that table. Pardon my ignorance, but the game looks to be a 2-player only table. They'd have to seriously crack some knuckles on online, head-to-head play to get that working. I do agree that A.G. Soccer looks like an amazing game though. I'd love to play one on location with some friends and beers.

The original show was indeed amazing. Best use of steroids ever.

Time for some trolling. Those guys are so big they need to live in a bigger house than most of us.

#57 will be Big House!

Or maybe they all enjoy playing basketball, in which case...

#57 will be Hoops!

Or their arms are so powerful, they have to register them as weapons, in which case...

#57 will be Deadly Weapon!

Keep in mind, this is coming from a guy who hopes the WMS contract will be renewed so we can get tables we really want like Congo, Rollergames, Banzai Run, The Shadow, and more. While there are still two Premiers I'd like to see in TPA, I'll stop calling for them because I now know when I want Surf N' Safari, I will get Bone Busters instead. :(
