The new tournament is underway...unfortunately, the high score boosting glitch is still present on Android and iOS which means you can use one table in particular to boost your high scores on the rest of the tables. The tournament should have been delayed until this glitch was fixed IMO.

To those thinking about exploiting that "feature", I guess it all depends how much you want an eyeball skin...

This is why there are separate tournament classes. For console and mobile.

I'll play the tournament, because there are some of my fav tables in it. But I can take or leave a ball skin.

I'm not aware of what this score boosting glitch is (and don't care because I would never do it). Is this something that is well known to everyone and should we be expecting tournament players to be posting phony scores? If so, then I won't even bother participating if the scoring isn't accurate.

If it comes down to removing/altering Raul Julia's likeness out of the machine, replacing it with an artists rendition of perhaps the original Addams Family actor (don't know his name), and simply re-recording the voices, then I'm sure Farsight will go that route. Slightly altered Addams Family is better than no Addams Family, and in my opinion, it's coming and I think it will be final Pinball Arcade table released.

And, although un-official, fans will hack in the official artwork and voice into the PC version in like, two seconds

Wouldn't it make more sense to release it now that the platforms are healthy rather than at an end of cycle? I would think that the table would attract new users which would in turn purchase more packs as they are released in the future.

How about a table like Judge Dredd, now that would be fun, and the rights should be a whole lot cheaper than Addams family.

That was surprising to me as well Chris. Hd a couple decent games killed by the camera issue before having an excellent, bug free game.

Well, the machine alone would attract tons more people to pinball arcade, for sure. I mean either way, it'll generate a ton of business for them not just sales of Addams but people discovering the app for the first time, will have 50+ machines to choose from.

I see it as it would be the perfect end to the game. I mean why not go out with a bang? On the other hand you aren't wrong. And if the next kickstarter was Addams there would probably be a lot of spill over, as in it'll meet and exceed the kickstarter very easily. Which would leave some left over money to help kickstart something else. I don't know, don't know what the plans are.

It has been stated that Raul Julia isn't necessarily the main issue and that his estate refusing to allow his likeness to be used is greatly misinterpreted. This doesn't mean they are willing to do it but the whole likeness issue not being allowed was pertaining to NEW usage (like the commercials where someone is having a conversation with Frank Sinatra or Nat King Cole).

The glitch killed me last night. I was having a great game and on my way to the gazillion score when it zoomed and drained one ball and ended the chance for a great score. Of course the gazillion in itself, while not a cheat, is definitely an advantage to scoring bigger points if a player is persistent with that particular table. Kind of seems like an odd choice for inclusion as it would probably never be used in an actual tournament without resetting the dude-o-meter between games.
