Why not post 1-2 screenshots/day? The "2-3 weeks" window has been broken (surprised!!), so why not show some high res pinball porn fron the latest builds to get us excited? 2 pics/day for a table. This way before we get to see pics from the last table, the game might actually be released!

Why keep people in the dark for no reason?

Well, for starters, I don't imagine there'd be much difference between an XONE pic and a PC DX11 pic. So if you want a good idea of how it'll look, go find some XONE pics. That's probably why.

Also, FS keeping people in the dark about stuff is pretty much normal. After their whole "12 days of Christmas" in 2013 when they trumpeted a bunch of stuff most of which is yet to be released (such as DX11! Wii U! New UI!) they've become very gun-shy when it comes to announcing new stuff and keep it close to their chest right up to when it needs testing, or in some cases (Elvira standalone) is released without warning.

We have been asked not to post screenshots, that is why.

New builds come in every 2-3 days, so it changes rapidly.

This isn't like doing a single table, where all the beta testers are focused on one thing. We've got 55+ tables to go through, trying to catch whatever issues with lighting we can. It doesn't stop with the lighting either, as there are fundamental changes to the build that affect other aspects. So HUD displays might be moved, graphic anomalies pop up, there are new menu settings to check, all sorts of stuff.

On top of that, the beta testers have been pushing Mike to do things that aren't necessarily in the PS4 and Xbone builds. We are being very pushy, actually, because we want FS to get the best response possible. So yes, the 2-3 week window has been blown and that is the bad news. The good news is this is in beta, which means it is not some pipe dream but a soon to come reality. I've seen some things that have put a very big smile on my face, others that will frustrate me if they don't get addressed.

Mike obviously has a laundry list of things to get to that come from internal, and then there's us piling on (but not knowing if it's already on his list or not). So just chill a little longer, go stare at some screen shots of the Xbone and imagine things looking even better (if only slightly sometimes).

Thanks for the update shutyertrap ... thats the kind of stuff that we like to hear in an update. Your not giving away anything that will get you in trouble, but we get something out of it.

Yeah, nice job there shutyertrap, more of this should be posted as a sort of "status update". I know it is a small team but, we have been waiting on this for such a long time, letting us know just enough to keep us happy ;)

Just to be off topic for second. It's so nice to see your name and you've been promoted. Congratulations Mr. H. My world is getting right again.

I'm patient for DX11 and so thankful for all the beta testers who are working hard on this and trying to get new things added to the PC build. It's worth the wait. I have a lot of patience. I still have the DX9 version of TPA and that's all right by me.

Thank you. The peasants in TPA-land appreciate your efforts.

Since when did I become royalty? I only wish I was better qualified to do proper testing. PinballWiz45b knows how to file good actionable bug reports. I just point at things and say, "I don't like that!"

Im ok with some delay, I have Bloodborne, GTA V, Dark Souls 2 upgrade/DLC, Axiom Verge, and Olli Olli 2 to play.

Once this releases Im going to forget about most, if not all of them.
