That's not always true. It's widely acknowledged that "Star Wars" is a crappy table, yet everyone seems to flock to it at Pinball events. It's all about the license.

That pin was a favorite of my father. (3 years ago, when Dorky's Bar Arcade installed the Wizard of Oz prototype.)

Farsight has bad taste in pinball confirmed.

It's an awesome license with some hilariously bad art and bottom-barrel gameplay.

While I would agree that the audio is cringeworthy, even for an 80s/90s TMNT fan and the gameplay lacks depth (does it even have a wizard mode?), the artwork is awesome. What do you mean awesomely bad? The artwork is awesomely awesome. One of the best!

I guess the playfield isn't that bad, pretty true to the comic book, but I always think of the horrendous backglass art:

wells shredder was a dweeb he got his ass kicked by a rat and his turtles and his best friend was a blob with a really annoying voice! and april was always deerty...
