Thanks for the fixes above, Mike. Can you fix/tweak the pop-bumper sensitivity on Genie and Goin Nuts? And the ball-locking issues on Black Knight? TIA

If this means what I think it means... ohhhh lawwwd!
Edit: It totally does! Taxi looks normal! If only we could get a texture fix for the lighting on the right hand side plastic of AfM (just above the sling, but to the right of it) I'd be over the moon. But it happens across all platforms, though :(

Maybe that is the same issue that I posted above under graphics issue flickering? Haven't played taxi enough to tell, but it happens somewhere on all tables.

Short list of issues known on 1.28.11:

HRC's Slot DMD is dead. FIXED
Cue Ball Wizard's Ramp bulbs are in the wrong positions. They should be over the second "O" in SHOOT and over the "A" in RAMP.
Somehow it's a bit harder to see the lit cards on the Poker game in HRC. But I can read what the cards are now!
The coin going into the slot machine upon locking the first ball isn't playing its respective sound.
Hard shots to the Lock from the right flipper often lead to a NASTY reject.

(New?) bug in current version:

On Who Dunnit, when multiball starts and no ball is on the field during start (due to a drain), all balls get fed into the autoplunger lane, but don't get launched. All that happens is an endless loop of the "ball on ball" clicking sound.

It is possible to reset the ball position, but the camera stays in plunger view until all but one ball has drained.

I don't know if it is a bug or if HRC is just so damn hard but I find it almost impossible to hit the right ramp for poker / high low. I so far just managed to get poker to startup just twice, it feel something is off with this table.

I'm working on some bugs today and wanted to look into these two bugs. Are the pop-bumpers too sensitive? or not sensitive enough? Also, could you explain the ball-locking issues on Black Knight? Thanks!

Hey SamuraiGarrin,

I wanted to follow up with you about the entering initials bug in HRC. I tried this for myself, and the left and right triggers worked to move between letters, and the "A" button worked to select them. We are aware of the mouse input issue, and actually have the bug report here: http://farsightstudios.com:3020/mantis/view.php?id=2740

What controller are you using? I am using a wired Xbox 360 controller and using the triggers for navigation and the "A" button for selection seems fine to me.

Graphics texture corruptions / flickering artifacts when the table (camera) moves. It stops when the table is perfectly still. Most noticeably on very thin models like decals and ramp entry metal flat thingies.
On HRC (great table btw) it's quite noticeable on the blue decal with the girl and above the plunger lane.
On totan it's at the snake baskets. On white water the led holder above the entrance to insanity falls etc.

Can this be fixed with 3D (nvidia) settings maybe?

Made a short vid. At 0:10 you can see the cam doing the auto move despite being locked and a lot of black flickering going on at the decal with the girl on the right and at the bottom where the instruction cards are. At the end when table is still everythings fine.
It does look more dramatic in real life sitting in front of the screen :cool:
Just disturbs the overall more and more great visuals of the game.

Edit 2:
Just tested TPA on my gaming pc which has an AMD HD6900. No problems and very nice visuals. Can't understand what problems other AMD users seem to have with post processing.
So it seems to be a nvidia issue.
To bad I decided to go for nvidia for my cab because I read everywhere that VP runs better with it. Only to realize later that VP didn't use any specific GPU related power at all... well maybe with V10.
Back to TPA: did anyone have this flickering textures on his setup and can give me a hint if it can be fixed?
Otherwise i'll have to to some testing after we become world soccer champion tonight ;)

Thanks for the reply, Scumble. The bumpers aren't sensitive enough. Many times the a ball will hit them squarely or roll around them like a cat on your leg and no bump. They're pretty dead.

And on BK, the first and second ball will lock fine. It's the 3rd ball. Many times you shoot the lock and instead of multiball you get the ball-clacking sound, and have to 'call the attendant' to reset the ball. If anyone has video-capture, please post one here. Don't take much to re-create the bug.

Released 1.28.12 which mainly fixes the slot machine LED's.

hi, Mike, i had switched off slot machine mode bug after tilt on HRC - had reported it in HRC subtopic
and not sure about real table (had not see it's video yet), but in TPA on HRC orbit shot are unrealisticaly hard - especially right one.

I must be doing something wrong, but I can not get the Win Craps goal achieved inspite several occasions I got it lit up completed for the Casino Frenzy. Done it by cheating, point spotted, and automatic win. Rather annoying if this is preventing me to complete the wizard goals, or am I doing something wrong?

Hey Atlantis1982,

I'll be honest, I've never played Craps, but after doing a little research on how to win at Craps (which are also outlined in the instructions of the table) I tried it on the table and was able to win and get the goal completed on two different occasions. Please forgive me if i'm telling you what you already know, but here is what I did.

First, Hit the "Roll dice" target until it says "Craps Completed" in the DMD. (NOTE: this is NOT where the goal gets completed) The "Craps" light should now be lit on the table.
Next, you need to actually win at Craps, so keep hitting the "Roll dice" target until it says "you win" in the DMD. At this point you should get the goal completed announcement.

I'm not sure if you can complete the goal if you win craps while cheating. Let me know if this works, or if the issue persists.

Hey Dave,

So I checked out the sensitivity of the pop bumpers on both the tables you mentioned, and you are right, they should be a bit more sensitive. I sent your post along to the guy at the studio who handles this. As for the Black knight ball locking issue, I have been trying to reproduce the error that you are having, but every time I go to lock the third ball, everything works perfectly. This is happening on the Black knight table and not the Black Knight 2000 table right? In the Black Knight table the black knight sound effect plays and all three balls unlock one by one. Are there any other steps I can try to reproduce the error?

thanks for the multiball-error fix on TZ, that is really great. But an error is still remaining. When I press fast enter for a new game after "Match" Player one :0 Points and when I press enter again there is the 2nd Player. So I have to restart again and wait some seconds to play only a single player game. I hope you understand what I mean.

There is an issue if you press enter/A too fast on match sequence it is the equivilant of pressing the start button which starts a new game. This causes teh game state to get out of sync with the UI. I don't have a good fix for that yet.

I guess I've been playing too much of another popular pinball game on Steam that uses the D-pad for initials. Just... forget I said anything! :)

I'm going to add something here - if you have re-mapped the flipper buttons like I have (I use the shoulder buttons not the triggers), for games that don't have native initial-entering, it still expects you to use the triggers to change the letters. Examples are tables such as Genie, Firepower, etc - pretty much anything pre-System 11 or the Gottlieb equivalents.
