(I know what it really is, but found "marble" an amusing mondegreen and wanted to see what responses would pop up - I expected someone to say what Bonzo did - what else?) :)
So I've been playing a bit of Cirqus Voltaire in the tournament, and the game keeps telling me about marbles, as in "I am the Ringmaster. Defeat me for the Ringmaster Marble!" and "The Boom Marble is yours." and other marbles.
I don't see no marbles. Should I file a bug report?
Both of your sentences describe the concept I'm looking to "wordify", but at different levels. The "stories of different people happening simultaneously" is a deeper or more complete version of "disparate strands", and they were "woven together" when "they ultimately met up and made the story...

If easy|stock|hard settings fit your playing style|ability|preferences, then those settings are right for you - that's why the physics thread exists, to tell others what works for us in the hope that it may work for...
