Yep, little highscore thingy but everything else works...and the HOF leaderboards seem to be up again!
I like this table, lots of ramps and loops and a challenge to make jumps. Up to 5 is my max yet.
TAFG is not harder than the original, it has exactly the same layout. There are only a few ROM differences, actually all tailored to higher scoring. From memory: there is a random Thing Bonus that awards points on top of Mansions, jackpots and super jackpots are higher and there is a mechanic...
Wow.....that's a lot of filth, respect for keeping your cool Tarek Oberdieck . Maybe it's time to let this rest and return to nicer topics (and people).
invitro So I guess we have a two-headed judge panel now? I understand the pragmatism behind that, but -without disrespect to VikingErik and...
Hey man, this is not helping. I think the scrutiny has been maybe taken too far by some, but certainly not by all. The fun part of these forums is friendly competition and the chance to interact with each other. Otherwise you can just go play some anonymous AI. I for one like getting to know my...
Excellent home machine, very tough tournament machine. The unbalanced scoring makes for a weird combination of being a plus in terms of excitement and suspense, and a negative in that if you get behind, it can be very difficult to recover. For example: if your opponent gets a good Bats going on...
Cayle George himself (one of the top real pinball players in the world) has said that he often practices with one hand. This forces you to employ a lot of technique to offset the loss of one flipper. A lot of nudging and deadpassing.
It would be sad if somebody with obvious talent would revert to cheating. I don't think it's a good sign if there's hostility there also. The one nagging question for me though -for argument's sake- is who should judge here, and when and how. Do we need a voted-upon system for this? Or is that...
But I'm not in this club for the tournament, I just like the fact it motivates me to fire up tables that I otherwise would leave gathering dust... :) i think playing the real table in tournament mode would indeed lead to the castle, best point per shot opportunity, although with the drawbridge...
Posted this before but I got really far with focusing on Castle MB. There is a repeatable EB to be had if you complete all stages. You just have to become really good at the lock shot from both flippers.
Well, what the title says. I tried using the button and it reset all my HOF points to zero. Tried it again, same result. The button has been broken before with same exact result. Luckily, a remote restore fixed my HOF points again. Latest iOS, latest TPA, iPad Air 2
I will post this also in a seperate thread but using the HOF point restore produces all zero's for me like it did just after it was instated. Latest iOS, latest TPA, iPad Air 2.
True, I always refer to us iOS/mobile players as the "pure pinball players" ;) And even we have far superior nudging control compared to the real thing.
Whoa, that's quite steep, I was thinking more along the lines of a couple of hundred dollars, max 1000. Then again, it's literally two games in one, so you even win some space for the mancave... :)'
Which tables are you in on Karl?
Update: I played a lot of real tables this weekend at the DPO (Dutch Pinball Open). I even chose my tables in the individual tournament qualification based upon which tables I knew from TPA (HSII, Frankenstein, Funhouse, F14 Tomcat, Whitewater) and one new one (Demolition Man) I never played...
Good suggestion. I actually have extensive experience with VP, but stopped playing it almost 3 years ago, courtesy of TPA. Because I'm really into playing I missed the kind of leaderboard system TPA has, and besides hacking it's not really possible to adjust tables to cheat, something you...
I'm a fan of BOP 2.0. I think the Dutch Pinball guys did an amazing thing for vanilla BOP and made the gameplay a lot more interesting and more challenging. The fact that you can choose between both versions at the start of the game actually gives you two games in one pinball machine. I love the...
