Star Trek
- The laser light show on the playfield during Klingon Multiball is very dim and hard to notice. It also should follow a more circular and clockwise pattern than just straight lines.
I would say that a more accurate discription is that the game is rendering small points of shadow...
Have they acknowledged that the lighting on Star Trek is busted? I refuse to believe that is how they meant for it to look, especially during MB.
Also, I really can't figure out why SST is the only table where the ball looks bright and shiny and good.
Hopefull a lot of lighting issues will go...
I still feel like the flippers are on/off. I will test more today, but with the new Sterns I was accidentally live catching all throughout play. Too often, really.
New Impressions!
I broke down and bought Mustang. No need for the bundle with that one.
This one looks pretty good, but man, the dull ball is still a real bummer. The lighting around the car on the turntable is lacking, it's rather dark. I'm not overly familiar with this table but it seems...
As I said in the impressions thread, Ripley's and SST still do not have the 3.0 flipper physics in SPA. In fact, they seem pretty much unchanged whatsoever.
Do not buy them if you already have them in TPA.
I BOUGHT BUNDLE #1 ON PS4 - Full Impressions:
This bundle comes with Star Trek, AC/DC, Starship Troopers and Ripley's Believe It Or Not for $20.00
Let's get this out of the way first: THE OLD PINBALL ARCADE TABLES ARE EXACTLY THE SAME!
I have Season 1 of TPA on PS4 and was able to do a direct...
The ball has a little more weight and a little more bounce around the flippers, right? Just judging from Frankenstein. It's pretty subtle.
Very disappointed in the lack of demos, especially considering the price and the fact that the tables are already downloaded to your system. It was the same...
$8,500 for a real, physical machine that provides an experience that digital pinball doesn't even come close to providing. We all play digital pinball because it's fun for what it is and it gives us a taste of the game. It is by no means a replacement for real pinball. I'm never going to choose...
A lot of us already own 7 out of 10 of those tables on TPA and SPA doesn't improve them.
Of course it's nice to have something rather nothing, but this is lacking features and is not up to quality standards.
We previously got ~18 tables for $30. Then 10 tables for $30. For those of us who...
I think AC/DC Premium's standalone price of $19.99 is a pricing error. It should be $9.99 like Star Trek and Mustang.
Looks like those LE editions are limited to the retail version, after all. Sucks for me because I'm all digital this gen, I'm not buying that disc.
This is all very confusing...
So this is weird! Despite no announcement from Farsight or Stern, I saw this on the Playstation Blog:

Stern Pinball Arcade
PS4 — Digital
Stern Pinball Arcade is the most realistic and accurate pinball...
I haven't noticed this. Playing on iOS.
The artwork is trash and looks that much worse in the flat mobile version.
The sound package is also trash, but in a much more delightful way.
I like playing LCA much more than 1812, R911, FTBH, Victory, Cueball Wizard, Eldorado SS or TX Sector...
Oh...
If you follow my posts you know I'm pretty vocal about my dislike of Gottlieb Premiere games. I've never played Bone Busters IRL but I was expecting the worst.
It's not that bad! I mean, it actually does have a decent flow and the layout is alright. The art is awful but I kind of love the...
