Monopoly easily makes the most sense. Iconic but attainable license, and Farsight seems to be huge Lawlor fans.
I would prefer High Roller Casino though. Lawlor tables aren't my favorites and we already have a million that all play the same.
Yeah, Haunted House looks and sounds way better in concept than it actually plays. What could be better than two playfields? THREE playfields!
But... not really. All the various ways to change levels are neat, but that's about all there is to the game. There's nothing to work towards, no...
The name isn't used, but the racing organization still exists and may still own the trademark or intellectual property. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_National_Cross_Country
Almost everybody wants EMs... but everybody wants a *different* EM, whatever they happen to remember from their local childhood diner or whatever. There's no consensus. EMs as a general class do have broad appeal, but any particular EM has far too narrow an audience.
That happens on the PC too. I'm pretty sure it's original ROM behavior. 3x Lightning Lamp is worth tons of points, so makes sense that it would have a limit like that.
The audio is great on my second stream (Bally/Stern/Gottliebs). It's too low on the first stream (Williams).
The Williams one is still up on Twitch so easy to watch there. http://www.twitch.tv/vikingerik78/b/521271192
I also downloaded the Williams stream myself so I have both saved and can...
The reason is as usual TPA's too-predictable physics, that the left flipper -> boxer rebound reliably points at the right outlane or dangerous bumper area. Work around this by shooting the boxer only from the RIGHT flipper and TPA Champion Pub gets much easier.
Also really learn the rules...
The problem here is the TPA flippers, which don't have fine enough control around the tips to accurately aim at outside shots like that. It's not just Ritchie tables: CFTBL, TOTAN, Theatre of Magic, and Cirqus Voltaire also have outside orbits that the TPA flippers don't seem to aim at quite...
The interesting piece to save would be the Twilight Zone glitchfest, starting at the 3 hour mark of that stream. The rest of it isn't all that interesting. Can you find a way to clip out and host those 10 minutes of it?
Thanks to your post I found twitchtools.com to save my own copy of the...
I didn't remove it, but ugh, now it's not there so guess Twitch deleted it. Twitch seems to be really aggressive on deleting saved streams, according to lots of complaints, there seems to be no reliable way to save them. :(
Try any Challenge Mode that includes Genie then. 3 million isn't even enough for max challenge points. The requirement comes to 3,640,000. And it's forced into 5-ball mode not the more lucrative 3-ball.
Champion Pub's difficulty is about one simple rule: don't shoot the boxer on the fly from the left flipper. The boxer is actually very far off center so rebounds point straight at the right outlane. Don't do that. He's not the AFM saucer. Get a catch, post pass if you need, then shoot...
Good catch, that must be the right answer. I never played as far as four Royal Madnesses in one game to see that limit, since Castle Multiball is so much more lucrative. The EB from Castle Multiball is repeatable too, not limited to one.
The EB from each is about equally easy, but Castle...
Pro Pinball did that starting with BRUSA, use the mass of the ball to influence the flipper. The Web and Timeshock have a massless ball as far as the flippers are concerned. Source: various mentions by Ade Barritt over the years.
The same bug happens in both regular play and challenge mode. Either way the TPA program is somehow fooled into thinking the ROM went into game over mode.
Then when you try to start a new game, TPA will "press start" on the ROM. If you are still on ball 1, the ROM interprets this as adding a...
Yeah, that scrolling interface that worked fine for six tables in season one is a wee bit clunky with 40+ tables now. A stopgap could be to allow typing a letter to jump to that letter in the list, which would be much less work than a whole favorites subsystem.
Yes, you want to play HD's video mode because it's actually a major source of points on the table. Completing it perfectly awards an EB, which once you reach the limit of 3 EBs per game, becomes 30M points instead. That's a lot, more than most multiballs.
