Wow, I would love to see some gameplay from BoP 2.0. The operator that supplies machines for our Pinball League has a BoP that I helped him fix (pitted cabinet switches and EOS switches). I mentioned the BoP 2.0 mod from DP, and he had never heard of it.
I have a feeling that these were a...
I'm glad someone identified the 2012 resurgence. This is a rather critical milestone for a certain game with Four Seasons under its belt as well.
As people got to relive their passion on mobile and consoles for the first time ever (Visual Pinball being beholden to Visual Basic and therefore...
Have you sent an email documenting this to the support email listed on the google play app listing? This is a good way of making them aware of the issue.
Geez. I reported that during the Scared Stiff beta...
Update: Looking back through my emails, it was Oct 31, 2012 to support@, after taking to Mike Reitmeyer in IRC about it.
It was really, really, bad when the first few table builds were put up, and Ryan Routon did some fixes to make it...
I downloaded it. On Android there seems to be hard-coded graphics settings that exclude the return lane guides, plus UI discrepancies.
I do find the 2 minute game time feature interesting. Someone has managed a 17M score already on the leaderboards.
So I'd imagine the strategy there is to...
Now might be a good idea to remind Android folks to create a Save/Load point in Google Play Games.

tl: dr is if you don't create a cloud save manually and your device dies, you may lose all local...
[Android 3.4.1]
If you manage to get the ball into the top saucer in the dying seconds of Game Time Bonus, it will not be ejected when GTB ends. You need to quit the game.
I'm not sure how GTB is implemented in the app, but I would imagine that in the game the only solenoids that would be...
[Android 3.4.1]
When I do a soft plunge and the ball doesn't clear the shooter lane, the ball gets stuck here instead of rolling back down.
I think the invisible barrier for the right gate is extending a little into the shooter lane, and this needs to be tuned.
[Android 3.4 Update]
I've got some custom light settings configured, but I don't think they should be causing all playfield art elements to be cancelled out. Playfield looks like it has been censored. :D
I already thought this table was awesome.
There is something about this line art that reminds me of the perspex pinball tables at the Pacific Pinball Museum, and Exploratorium in San Fransisco.
Beautiful comes to mind. That woodgrain...
I don't like it on Android: it looks clunky as an Android 4.0 system dialog box. Really jarring actually, compared with the rest of the tasty UI.
If the dialog must stay, utilize the compatibility library of Android dialogs to present the correct dialog style for the OS version the device uses.
I've kind of gathered that. 😟
Oh well, the next best thing is to maintain them better. For the record, I would think that purging them would be easier than maintaining them from FarSight's perspective.
