The Pro model looks like a$$ without all the wire trails. Also, why is it that everything Star Wars has to use the same Han and Luke images? Han shooting his blaster, Jedi era Luke about to rage. I don't know, the look of this thing looks so generic. And on top of all that, it's only original...
While you guys were looking at the ball speed, I was looking at how much higher the ball bounces off the flipper in TPA compared to the real table. But yeah, we don't know how FarSight has their machine set up, and a lot depends on that.
Oh yeah, showroom quality is gonna run more for sure. There's a couple of threads on Pinside about guys that do tables up for 'best in show' competitions, and it's unbelievable what they do to a machine that looked fantastic even before they got their hands on it.
Jealousy alarms just sounded in my head.
Curious to know what price you get it for and in what condition. I had a guy who could sell me one as he described it, practically new in box, for $2200. Unfortunately I couldn't have bought it even if it was only $1000 as I simply don't have the funds...
I am no longer requesting Rollergames because I fear it will jack up the prices on actual machines and I really want to buy one but can't afford it yet!
In its place I'm going to guess it's that other rollerskating themed game, Vector.
I'm not here to slight your frustration. I do think it's slightly amusing though that you supported the 2 systems I think were most obviously destined to lack continued support. I wish FarSight would do what I just saw happen to my son playing Terraria on PS3; an announcement of one last patch...
Thanks for the before and afters. What you can really see is they removed the baked in lighting effect, allowing the real colors to be present. That way DX11 lighting can be added, giving a truer on/off state to the art. This is the curse put upon all the art for at least the first 3 seasons...
I think it is very wise not to purchase the full season if you feel you'll be getting a repeat of season 6. While you are truly demonstrating 'voting with your wallet', keep in mind that if you wind buying ala carte 6 of the 10 tables, you'll be paying the same price as a season. But yeah...
Out of curiosity, are people fine with how much I've been talking about EBD and Firepower fixes? There just hasn't been a whole lot else to talk about!
Not only the largest selection, but they go on sale all the time. When I bought my first wave of Zen tables, I picked up 24 from a Humble Bundle offer for like $6, and then another 12 from Steam at 75% off. TPA goes on sale for seasons 1-4 now at half price during the winter or summer sale. My...
My 2 cents...
Know going in that with the consoles, you might only receive blocks of new tables twice a year. That also means bug fixes or game issues won't be addressed except for when those tables drop. I can't stress enough that you'd be better off purchasing the game for PC on Steam, but I...
You can find Goin' Nuts in Las Vegas at the Pinball Hall of Fame. I've seen Space Shuttle, Cyclone, and Cactus Jacks there too, but the normal games like that rotate.
Any yet those are the tables that will dismantle you in less than 3 minutes. As a beginner you want to feel like you have a chance, you want a reward. To me that means either having modes start or getting something like multiball. As a kid the thing that attracted me was ramps. If I could hit...
You already have a controller that will work awesome on PC, your PS4 controller. You can either link it through blu-tooth or do what I do, which is plug it in with USB cable. Download DS4Windows, it's free, easy to set up, and works better I feel than having it integrated with Steam as then you...
I've now owned the real deal of this table for a little over a month. I tried out all the settings as the manual 'recommended', and it makes the table way too forgiving. I then set it up for everything to be on 'conservative' setting. That changes your strategies a bit, as there are no extra...
I didn't realize they meant all in one game at first, because on my actual machine I have it set where you can only earn 1 free game per credit. This is my last goal to get, and yeah, it's a bear. For those looking to game the system a bit, you can always use the THING ball to quickly get DELUX...
Well, I tried. Never showed anyone in the queue, but it would connect me to people. Problem is, it'd find the match and then not actually start the game. There's another try on 4/19 at 11am Pacific per FarSight, so hopefully it gets patched and will work. Oh beta.
