A Bugatti is an Italian sports car you buy when you want to impress people that you know more about Italian sports cars than just Ferrari and Lamborghini (and maybe Maserati).
Also Dr Who isn't a movie, unless you count the two movies made in the '60s with Peter Cushing, which most fans don't, and anyway the pin is based on the first run of the TV show (1963-1988). The pin is good, but the overall body of the work of the TV show, particularly during the '70s, is better.
I'd be wary of whether this deal actually covers any past tables (and by that, I mean Wrestlemania or earlier). My assumption is that right now this covers Game Of Thrones and any future releases.
It really all depends on how far back Stern started including a "digital reproduction" clause in...
The .csv download for all tables are limited to the Top 2000, .csv downloads for individual tables contain all scores as do the leaderboards on the website. Just make sure that the platform and timeframe filters are set right, because the website usually defaults to something that isn't all...
Thanks!
Though I'd put S4 > S3, and I suspect many here would do the same.
S2 suffers from its Gottlieb long tail (necessitated by FS having to renegotiate the Williams/Bally license), having Goin' Nuts, El Dorado, and Central Park - the bottom three tables! - in there.
Thanks to the Pope, I will no longer be going to Philadelphia (Art of the Brick at the Franklin Institute) on Saturday.
I did text His Holiness about him rescheduling but I guess he's busy right now.
Wonder if I can get this in before my boss comes to visit my desk for the first time ....
[Edit] I had about enough time to get my earbuds out of the drawer when he showed up, with his laptop, which is usually a bad sign....
That's the whole point of this partnership: FS won't need Kickstarters, because the rights to create a digital version of physical tables will be baked into the licensing agreements signed by Stern when they build the physical tables.
Stern are going to be contracting out the digitizing of the...
You've clearly never watched Top Gun, have you? The F-14 was the Navy's mainstay for years. It absolutely can take off and land on a carrier. Look closely at the F-14 playfield and there is a front-on view of a carrier, presumably a pilot's-eye view as he's coming in to make a landing.
With this morning's news about the Stern App, I've changed my mind: Table #44 will be Game Of Thrones!!*
* Or maybe it will still be Paragon and I'm getting ahead of myself?
One thing's for sure, more of my hard-earned $$$ is going to be going the way of Farsight.
How's this going to jive with TPA development, though? FS are stretched pretty thin as things stand, add in knocking out a digital Stern table every 3-6 months on top of (maybe) doing recent-past Stern...
