Wow! Actually !!!!WOW!!!!.
For a lot of popular board games (for example, Monopoly), you can download fan-made rule sheets that allow for quicker games, increasing the reach of the board game for time-poor audiences.
I am actually sitting here quivering with excitement to think that the P-ROK...
Because of the "horizontal lines" issue on the DMD, I opt to turn on the DMD HUD.
From what I observe, the DMD HUD is not persistent between game sessions, after setting it to on.
Steps to reproduce
Set HUD to On.
Start game.
Exit back to table select screen.
Restart CV.
Start game, and...
I've noticed when playing CV on my SGS2 that the slingshot kicker animation present on the four launch tables is not present in Cirqus Voltaire.
Compare the slingshot animation with RBION to that in CV and you'll see what I mean.
I'm wondering if it is an issue with device performance...
With the latest update, this issue seems to have fixed itself. I do observe that the Pinball Arcade icon remains in the Running Apps for a while after closing.
I think having a proper "Exit" button that gracefully terminates the game, and doesn't send it to the background would be a better...
I can confirm this behavior on my SGS2 as well.
Don't know if Farsight has considered it, but I would like to only have mechanical sounds only, and not environmental sounds such as rolling ball noises (which actually sound terrible when using headphones).
I know that Farsight will be...
If Farsight is not interested in producing t-shirts, I wonder if they would give their blessing to Frostyglitch or some other forum member to use the Pinball Arcade logo with a fan-contributed slogan, to spread the word.
If anyone from Farsight is monitoring this thread, is this something that...
http://www.youtube.com/user/CaptainPinball/featured has an awesome collection of Pinball Promo videos, which in your youTube "research" I'm sure you stumbled across.
It's quite astounding to review the promo videos for those tables included in TPA, and just see how photo-realistic they are. I...
It's hard for me to work out what the origin of my pinball obsession was, however I think it might have been a pre-90's Playboy pinball down at my local bowling alley in Milton, Brisbane. This was when I was about 10 or 12. This would have been my gateway drug into Pinball.
I found a couple of...
All I know is that the metal rail you're talking about is to prevent bounce-back when a ball heads towards the outhole, then bounces back off the outhole guide chute. I *think* those metal rails are called "Bang-back Rails".

Yeah, that is probably a valid point.
However, I'm sure a generic "Pinball Arcade" shirt featuring the Pinball Arcade logo on the front, and an appropriately niche slogan on the back, would be a great way of letting us fans spread the good word about the game at BBQs and (in my case)...
I actually think there is some merit in using earned credits for Buy-ins. While earning extra balls for replays is essentially like a forced buy-in feature now, storing earned credits for unlockable content would be kind of awesome. Buy-in management is important for scoring on certain tables...
For Tegra mobile devices, would it be possible to implement Dynamic Lighting with the extra processing grunt of 4 cores? I'm sure that a Tegra 2 or Tegra 3 device could handle this in Performance mode.
I'm absolutely loving this game as well. I'll give you a tip: there are more ways to help Farsight that just repurchasing the game.
One way you can support Farsight is to blow some bucks on the Kickstarter for Twilight Zone. If you want to purchase multiple times, put this awesome energy into...
I understand.
For me I found that updating a ROM often removed the kernel I had installed, unless it came packaged as part of the ROM.
So I usually flash the ROM, then flash the alternate Kernel.
If I ever put on a new ROM, I always do a CWM backup first. Then I usually start CWM and use it's...
This is also relevant to me as well KaPeh.
I am very close to purchasing a Transformer TF300 (primarily for The Pinball Arcade ;) ) and as I understood it, Google Play treats applications purchased as "purchased" on multiple devices.
I wonder if Google Play is having issues with the in-app...
Is there a changelog that you could provide to ND3G to append to his post (or add it to his post manually?). If it details all the performance fixes we *should* be seeing, it might help filter the noise.
I generally report bugs against the table, appropriately flagged in the subject, to keep...
The Resurrection Remix 1.9.1 ROM comes packaged with the SiyahKernel built into the ROM. Version 1.8.1 required you to reflash the kernel after flashing the ROM. But if you got some black screen action going on, you definitely did the right thing and backed out. ;)
After the Android performance...
I'm just curious about how to obtain a "golden ticket" for beta testing :D:
Are there particular requirements to becoming an android beta tester?
Do you limit testing to more seasoned users of the forum?
Do you limit testing to stock devices?
Are you looking for a particular device subset...
Great to hear this goforthewall. Looking forward to seeing the update.
I'll probably continue to run custom settings, but might dial back the CPU overclock to stock 1.2Ghz and leave GPU overclocked for some extra graphics grunt.
Doing this should also improve battery life a fair bit.
For...
