[Samsung Galaxy S2] [SiyahKernel] [Resurrection Remix AOKP ROM] Performance Recipe
Summary
The following settings result in very smooth gameplay on all 1.0.6 version tables.
Funhouse and BoP see no degradation in gameplay from HUD demands.
During Multiball and intense light show events...
Well, I can't speak for MIUI ICS, because when I discovered Resurrection Remix AOKP (my first rom I tried after extensive research), I didn't bother going to any other ROM. ;)
The AOKP Resurrection Remix ROM is regarded as probably one of the best and most stable 4.0.4 ROMs out there. The...
Definitely looking forward to seeing what that update brings as far as performance (just noticed Ryan's post in the 1.0.6 thread then). I'll wait and see before continuing posting recipes.
The shameful amounts of money I angrily shoved into Bally's Safe Cracker to get those damn SC tokens would make this one of my absolute *must play* guilty pleasure titles. I went through a phase of only playing this game on Visual Pinball, and in that implementation I loved the fact you could...
When playing the game, I have a feeling the time it takes for the ball to travel behind Rudi to the upper flipper seems to be "too long". This is both at ball launch, and when shooting for the inner loop shot to the trapdoor combo.
I.. can't put my finger on it, but I feels like the ball is...
This bug presents on SGS2 as well. I've seen it happen a few times between ball locks. That is the only time I have observed the behavior to be repeatable.
For me, I'm using Resurrection Remix, which is built on the Android Open-Kang Project (AOKP).
I agree that ideally the game should "just work", and I was surprised that the stock SGS2 struggled with it.
For those who don't want to wait for that, they could run ExTweaks and SiyahKernel and...
Hi all
I've got a rooted SGS2 (see my profile) and have been trying to get gameplay running butter-smooth across all tables by fiddling with CPU and GPU speeds using ExTweaks. I've also experimented with some CPU Governors.
I've discovered what I think is the perfect recipe for those fans who...
Yep, I agree totally.
Good news is that at least for the Android platform, Ryan is doing all he can to get us some beta versions to test on.
Particularly on Android, fragmentation equals a major headache for development.
If you guys want to get in on this action, I would suggest raising...
Version: 1.0.6
Hardware: Check sig to left.
Problem:
On every view angle, the DMD does not seem to be scaling correctly when it is presented on the angle. I've cycled through all 4 viewing angles and the horizontal lines move as the table view moves up.
When the camera zooms-in on the...
I have observed that the BOOM! bumper seems to be allocated a Replay/Match sound effect when it pops up.
Also, I think the Replay/Match SFX is actually a solenoid-up sound. I have a feeling that the sounds have been mapped incorrectly between the two solenoids in-game.
I observed this on...
Problem
If you exit TPA then start the game up again within a few seconds, the game often fails to load.
Reproducable
For me it's 100%.
Hardware
SGS2, as per my profile information.
TPA Version
1.0.6, with all updated table data downloaded.
Steps to reproduce
Start the game, and wait...
Do you remember which thread contained this confirmation?
I'm running the latest update (Cirqus Voltare and Funhouse) and the super skill shot issue is not resolved?
For those Android users with rooted devices and custom kernels, you might want to try experimenting with the I/O scheduler your phone uses to handle threads in general. On the ROM and Kernel I'm using, there are about 5 schedulers to choose from. What one to use? Check this thread on XDA forums...
