The two ramps that ran down the far left and far right of the playfields are transparent in real life. TPA's version was opaque, but is now transparent in the latest version.

No, it' s been my experience that with two devices, then my HoF score from either device has to beat my HoF score at the server before it replaces it. Not add to it.
I'm only guessing, as I've never seen this pin in RL. The skill shot trough is at the far right of the picture. Instead of it being a solid track as it is in most games, there are discrete "rollers" that form the trough surface, with gaps between each roller that may allow ball to drop into...
If losing the local high scores really really bothers you, you can go into the Operator menu within Pro mode and edit the default local high score entries.
Put whatever you want in there.
