Figured it out ... Finally remembered the steam launch options for this game. I was running "m2 q" (m2-add second monitor for back glass and q-skip menu). I cleared them both from the launch option and was able to launch game to menu and then re-tweaked my graphic settings. back to cab mode with...
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?
Was working but have not played for a month or so. Come back to give it a whirl today and ... no dice. Crashes when loading. It skips the main menu and goes straight to loading table and then crashes. I'm on Windows 10 and fully updated ...
Here's my 2 cents worth regarding the distorted view:
When you first enter the arcooda cabinet mode and launch a table, the table looks very nice ... but ... then you plunge a ball and the ball gets larger the further away it gets from you and smaller as it gets closer to you. The reason is...
Thanks again NoEx for the quick update to the Mod. Long live the Free Camera Mod! I think I'll be sticking to the FCM vs Arcooda. Can't see payin $150 for just around 10 tables that actually have moving backglass parts ... the rest are static anyway. Also seeing that 2 monitor support is jacked...
Wicked pinball on Steam is getting to be a really good simulation .... might need to open up a forum section for them? Just sayin ... I'ts definitely worth talking about here in a defined area.
and I suck at finding things, so forgive me if there is a whole big section on this already ;)
Yeah ... I'd throw some beers in too to get NoEx the software.
Waiting to see what the feedback will be on those who have purchased the arcooda steam key. I already own all tables and do not plan on spending thousands ... but animated back glass on 76 machines would be cool on my "not so...
ok ... didn't realize there was going to be a Steam Ver key. $150 still kinda spooky purchase. NOEX's services would still be hugely appreciated and needed by many.
I'm in portrait mode @ 1080x1920. First, The UI buttons on home screen vibrate rapidly for a good 15- 20 seconds. Moving mouse cursor back and forth over them seems to correct it after 15- 20 seconds ... that's not a big deal. Button size are way out of proportion ... just huge and looks akward...
Hey NOEX ... hope all is going well ... Getting error when launching Stern in the MOD. "Designed to work on version 1.2.8 only" ... I think they upgraded to newer version.
The "%command%" at the end of that message is odd ... make sure that you have nothing after PinballArcade11.exe in the Mod's settings.ini file.
mine looks like this:
; Path to the game executable.
GamePath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PinballArcade\PinballArcade11.exe
That...
True ... only thing that I really liked about it was our ability to purchase a "Season Pack" (get the tables for $3.00 each instead of $5.00 each). If they are no longer committed to releasing tables each month, then how can they commit to a 10 table deal if they don't have a deadline to produce...
They announced on Twitch last night that Banzai Run (March table) will be the last "monthly" table release.
:( they stated that this would give them more time and be able to release a less buggy table.
That sounds a lot like Windows Defender stuff ... I had issues at one point that were similar (nothing that said anything about 16 bit though). The 1kb placeholder is what I would see. Even with Windows Defender OFF, you may want to go into Windows Defender properties and set the ModUpdater file...
And the answer is .................. No. No portrait mode. Interesting as there is a "flip screen" option you can enable, but it does nothing. Anyway its cheap and a very cool little piece of digital pinball history to own. I'll be getting Fantastic Journey as well.
