    iOS v3.6.0 Bugs

Maybe someone with the right privileges can sticky this? The v3.5.0 sticky is still up under the 3.6.0 discussions topic. Thanks.

TPA iOS v3.6.0 (Junk Yard release) Discussion & Feedback

I think the default high scores on the table are a mistake...they're ridiculously low. I wonder how this will affect playing the free version since you can only play to the lowest high score on the table. I can't check now since I bought the table before even playing it.

iOS - Flipper goes dead after holding for too long

The protector on the case is losing conductivity between your fingers and the phone's screen. Why this particular case is doing it is anyone's guess. Is the protector lying perfectly flat on the screen? If it's not, this may be one reason...other explanations may have to do with static charge or...

iOS - Flipper goes dead after holding for too long

If you haven't already done so, I'd clear the iPhone's screen very well along with the the back of the protective cover that covers the screen front. Something in between iPhone's screen and the case's screen protector could very well cause an intermittent situation. Test and post results. If...

iOS - Flipper goes dead after holding for too long

Was this after wiping the device clean by restoring it (NOT from a previous backup but as a NEW device)? In other words, the device is as you just took it out of the box. If so, then I'd venture to say it's a hardware issue and the device needs to be exchanged if you still can. At the same...

iOS - Flipper goes dead after holding for too long

Should be pretty simple. Just backup the device in iTunes fully including all your music, etc. Then wipe the device clean (you'll need to disable Find My iPhone to do so and log out of your iTune account). After the wipe, install *ONLY* TPA and whatever tables you have issues with. Test fully...

iOS - Flipper goes dead after holding for too long

@PinballLizard I'm very interested to see if a new device would solve your touchscreen issues. Usually when a touchscreen is "bad" (hardware), it simply doesn't work in a certain screen region, or not at all. For those that have a periodic software related (iOS) issue, sometimes either a device...

    Pin inspired hobbies

I'm sorry to admit this but pinball has not inspired my music playing nor writing in the least bit (at least as far as I can tell). Even though I've been playing bass guitar for ~34 years, I only pick up the instrument every once in a while now. Pinball is more like my escape and to help forget...

    iOS v3.5.0 Disscussion & Feedback

I'd like to say that I have never seen TPA running better than with the past two (or three) releases. It seems as if the tables have no speed/frame rate issues (even on my iPad mini 1st gen) as they did in the past. Whirlwind has NONE of the odd stuttering that it had in the past on certain...

iOS - Flipper goes dead after holding for too long

These are some of the worst kind of bugs to trace and trap. I have an iPhone 5 (not the S) under iOS 7.1 and in very brief testing (trying, what you've explained as possibly being the "trigger"), I saw no issues. I will have to try again later on to see if I can trigger the issue since it...

    Confused about iPhone 5/5S

The entire resolution (AFAIK) was not changed but the level of detail rendering used on the faster/newer iOS devices is MUCH higher.

    iOS 7.1 has been released.

Six months...and we are now likely approaching a NEW iOS release 8.0. For myself, I've found that the low memory specific crashes (check under Settings>General>About>Diagnostics & Usage>Diagnostics & Usage Data) have indeed stopped and TPA is running especially well. Whirlwind stuttering...

    TPA v3.4.0 released for iOS

Just a correction that the device mentioned should've read iPad mini 1st gen.

    TPA v3.4.0 released for iOS

Initial performance impressions on older devices (iPad 1st gen), awesome! Even Black Hole which never really played butter smooth is now just that...butter smooth, and that's even under iOS 7.1. Nice work guys on the performance tweaks!

    iOS 7.1 has been released.

Personally, I think they were/are both at fault. It's entirely possible and makes issues even more difficult to pinpoint as far as testing goes.
