A fair point. And yet all one has to do is take a look through the various threads on the kickstarter codes or bug reports or whatever and you'll find tons of instances where Farsight's communications were not up to snuff.
To wit: they've assigned a community manager to this forum and he...
Bobby,
There have been numerous posts/complaints regarding poor communication from Farsight via PMs, e-mails, Facebook, and posts on the TPA fan forum.
My question: Are you satisfied with the current level of communication from Farsight and, if not, what steps will you take to address it...
I had a bunch of issues in my dozen or so games - not getting a free ball for 450m, getting a 9m bonus on a score of 60m but ending up with a final score of 67m (the exact same score as previous game???), and so on. I agree with others that have mentioned they thing the flippers are short -...
In a roundabout way, what you're saying is that we should be able to play our PS3 versions of TPA (and DLC) on the PS4. And I completely agree with you.
Despite what Mark has said above, backward compatiblity is not impossible. If Sony wanted to do it, they could (via hardware chips added to...
I haven't made a serious run at it in a while but my high score is only about 100,000,000 so I'm not in the "it's way too easy" stratosphere yet. I can see where it would be for a top player, though, since so many of the shots are easily repeatable. If I could control multiball better on it...
Alright, that's just some straight-up blasphemy! :)
Personally, Funhouse is my favorite table of all-time, real life or otherwise. That said, I like Harley in TPA and always have. My only beef with it is that the colors on the PS3 are way off from what they should be.
Oh yeah, add me to...
Tesla, to me, is just a poorly designed table. The ramps are too close to the flippers, the shot to get into the mission area is essentially blind, the scoring is way out of balance, the ball often moves too fast and so on. The core four are a LOT more playable under Zen 2 than the original...
It has been several versions since I last tried TPA on my phone. This is my first time seeing the new menu layout so forgive me if this has been mentioned before:
It baffles me that you can't select table from the scrolling list and have it get displayed. Instead you have to scroll the list...
Device/OS: Samsung Galaxy S2, Android 2.3.6
Bug Description: "Hall of Fame Pts:" and "Table Goals" buttons overlap on menu screen
Steps to Reproduce: Launch game
Frequency: 100%
The original four tables for Zen/Zen 2, to me anyway, range from downright awful (V12, Shaman, Tesla) to just bad (El Dorado). I've got 17 tables in Zen 2 and, IMHO, the class of the bunch of Sorcerer's Lair. It seems to have the best balance for scoring, variety of shots, and actually looking...
They are all excellent. Really, really excellent. My rankings would differ from most, however. Mine goes (highest to lowest):
1) The Web - the least-advanced technologically but the best table, IMHO.
2) Big Race USA - the best combo of table + technology
3) Timeshock
4) Fantastic Journey -...
