have you tried moving your thumbs up to the middle of your device in portrait? (just under the touch nudge area) this makes playing much better and nudging much easier as well, since you don't have to move much to switch between flipping and nudging touch areas. also it's quite a bit more...
+1 yes, this needs to be: 1. either a free upgrade for the PC version OR 2. a paid upgrade on a per table basis ($0,99 at most) OR 3. a paid upgrade with a one-off price (eg. $7,99) for all released and future tables
making a TPA cabinet version that makes you buy all the tables *yet again*...
okay, I got it working fine using "Nvidia 3D Play" (which doesn't rely on the 3D Vision glasses or dongle (pyramid) and longer). It works at full speed (60fps) with all options turned up / on in TPA's and the graphics card's settings. the effect is a little disappointing though, because it...
whoah, I completely missed this comment... How did you get it working? which drivers? can you give us some details?! I have the official 3D Vision Play drivers and can do the stereo test and setup with no problems, BUT TPA PC beta remains 2D no matter what I try (even though my TV switches to 3D...
+1 for nvidia 3d vision / 3d play support. just spent the morning trying to force nvidia 3d on the beta to no avail... (this used to work with every Direct 3D game with the old drivers). I then used my 3D tv built in 3D conversion, which is already pretty great, since pinball is mostly static...
okay, I figured this out: it's probably a design choice! The following x360 buttons are hardcoded, no matter how you redefine them: a (confirm), b (back), right trigger (advance high score initial right), left trigger (advance high score initial left). still a bug in my opinion, though :-p
Title Bug: High score Initial Entry on EM Tables uses wrong keys on x360 compatible controller
OS Version: Windows 7
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce GTS 450
Ram: 4GB
Version #0.029
Display Mode: “Full Screen”
Display Resolution: “1920x1080”
Frequency of Occurrence: “100% of the time” , “when...
Listening to Norman Stepansky was really interesting, but it made me realize that the sound is *not emulated* directly off the roms. Why is this? Doesn't Visual Pinball (VpinMame) have the ability to play the sounds directly? Why go through the "bother" of re-recording every sound and scripting...
Quick translation :-)
Features:
- 20 unique tables with well-known themes, e.g. Star Trek and Twilight Zone
- realistic ball physics
- detailed graphics and authentic sounds
- life-like HD Next Gen-graphics (gotta love the marketing language here ;-) )
The table files for the PC beta include some yet unreleased tables (not in-game, in the file directory). But it's probably forbidden to name these here, right? ;-)
Or FarSight could become an official license partner of VirtuaPin and deliver a special cabinet demo version of TPA pre-installed on *every* VirtuaPin sold. That would be a good marketing move :-)
Whoa! What's wrong with the perspective on all the screws in the Kindle Fire HD screenshot?? It's like they're facing the viewer directly instead of facing up from the posts... Never noticed this before...
If you haven't bought any of the tables yet then the season packs are definitely the way to go, as you SAVE money vs. individual purchases. Pro tables are extra, but there are also pro table season packs, if you already know you want all of the pro add-ons... If you want it all, just buy season...
I just came across this comment on the T2 Kickstarter, which immediately peeked my interest as it's quite a cool (albeit maybe unfeasible) idea:
Matthew Zarzeczny: "by any chance can it [the Kickstarter] be expanded to include Stern's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines? I would reckon the...
