It's a TV - PS3 and resolution combination thing. I have tried the Xbox 360 (1080p) and PS3 (must be 720p, but most PS3 games are this by default!!) side-by-side on the same LG TV. The input lag is exactly the same on both systems: practically NON-existent.
Yeah, agreed =) ZEN had the chance to refine their whole approach when they released PFX2. The first one sucked sooo hard (>_<). I just hope FarSight doesn't go bust anytime soon over all the "issues". It seems like no other company would bother with the concept of re-making classic tables...
You always have to factor in time difference! I have personally received Rob's replies within 24 hours vie Private Message on this forum. So no worries...
This. Especially in portrait, there is no other way to go. Works perfectly and makes sense specially on the tables with the ball launch buttons (MM, STTNG, etc.)
Pre-plunge Start Button control works on Android for ToM. It's a bit finnicky (sp) though: my trick is to use my left thumb to press the glowing start button and then - without (!!) leaving the touch screen - slide your thumb over to the left. It should say "digital pinball selected". I can make...
Sorry, if this is old news, but I just noticed that table exploration from the pro menu on Android has a much improved camera view angle now (as of 1.10.1). In the past, it used to be that pinch-zooming would go right through the table graphics and the camera path was on a somewhat random, yet...
Two points regarding the initial entering for the table internal local high score list:
1. Please remove the CHIME that overlaps the table roms' own sounds.
2. Allow a hold-touch to scroll through letters if possible, as it is on the consoles. Entering my initials takes like 20 taps ;-)
1. Make it possible to submit any offline achieved highscores to the online leaderboards, as soon as an internet connection is available. At the same time: minimize freezes resulting from the game trying to connect to the online leaderboards when there is only a poor or no signal.
That is correct. Because the table music is embedded in the table file, the app plays the placeholder music if the table has not been downloaded / updated. The app itself no longer comes with any "packaged" tables.
Is it like a consistent stutter that feels like the framerate has been halved? Because I get this once in a while on SGSII, especially on the alpha numeric tables. Going back into the pause menu and resuming solves the issue. I think Ryan once said that some devices are locked into 30 frames...
This has always been the case when the data connection isn't sufficient. I have only been able to download new tables on a wi-fi connection, which is fine by me...
This is my *main gripe* at the moment, as well. The problem is that it happens seemingly randomly, so once you've adjusted to the ball collision it suddenly comes down the lanes *correctly* once again putting your expectations off. I have to admit though that my real RfM (which has pretty much...
There's been a request for a long time that the game should keep track of the online leaderboard scores even when *offline* and submit any offline scores to the online database, as soon as a connection becomes available. I think that would be the best solution, whether you really care about...
