I thought one would be eligible to have the credit for packs 11-13 subtracted off the purchase (already) of the *Season 2 Pass*. Otherwise it seems to make little sense for those of us who just play TPA on a single platform (eg. Android mobile). I, for example, already have all the packs from...
From the FarSight facebook post it sounds as though you will get full credit for all already bought packs from Season 2: "We realize that there are customers who have already bought Season Two content that may want to take advantage of the Season Two Pack discount. We would like to offer anyone...
Now that this has actually been implemented as of the newest Centaur and Pin*Bot update, I'm wondering what you guys think, especially of the pricing structure for the Season 2 pass? (sorry if this has already been discussed in another thread - I sure couldn't find it...)
The way I see it, it...
Thanks Ryan for doing such a stellar job (as always) on the open beta!! Regarding version 29b: 1. Centaur and Pin*Bot are generally stuttery (akin to Dr. Dude!) on SGSII using newest Android JB stock rom. 2. In portrait view the "cancel" button is cut off at the bottom of the "buy table screen"...
Tried this out on Android out of curiocity when Luobo started this thread - didn't work! The app just redownloads any table that was renamed to another since it probably compares the filesize and checksums with the download server...
Thanks Jeff and Bobby for these talks! Much more fun to hear news this way =) Looks like PC will be the platform of choice, when it finally *is* released. I'm really looking forward to the Kickstarter build, since it will most certainly give us an idea of what to expect from the Steam version...
AWESOME NEWS!!!! So did they get a few "free votes" directly from Valve in order to push them through? Oh actually I don't really care... AWESOME!!!
I got a chance to play two Spectrum machines at the German Pinball Convention 2013 in Berlin last weekend. WOW! What a crazy game. It's so rewarding because it has such a rigid ruleset. It's like playing Mastermind with flippers, right? Every single shot counts and making ONE SINGLE wrong shot...
I don't think so! It's rather the "we're a small company that has been overwhelmed by the sheer amount of troubleshooting". Since all of the original codes provided by Sony were duds, they now have to sort out each and every customer's complaint individually... This is not EA or Activision who...
There was a time (right near the release of the first four tables) where high scores would be posted with a few extra zeros at the end. Ended up giving me 20 billion instead of 200 million on Ripley's. That resulted in me being the number one spot for a few months =)
I was at the event and saw the Full Throttle pin live, but it was out of order. In the end everyone ended up playing the Cactus Canyion that was right beside it :p The custom The Outbreak pin was working though and that had some CRAZY stuff (lightgun on the cabinet, working ball shot gun on the...
I was there on Friday (took a day off!) and yesterday! :D Since I didn't qualify for the finals, I'm skipping the final day... It was a little bit of a shame that the tournament pins were off limits for "open play" since they had quite a few exclusives (i.e. they were not in the open play area)...
While going through the table files on Android TPA I was just wondering what "table12.dat" does in: /storage/sdcard0/Android/data/com.farsight.AndroidPinball.javaProject/files/
Especially as a beta tester on Android it can be important to delete the table files and re-download with every...
The back button (on SGSII) no longer works to back out of a tables attract mode to the table selection menu. Only the "exit table" button will let you do this... IIRC this used to work fine.
As a huge TILT fan, let me just restate that this film is simply amazing. (Special When Lit has no real narrative.) TILT works well on so many levels and I've watched it several times with people alien to pinball - they were still hooked, just because the film has such a captivating emotional...
For me with the new PS3 update 2.09 I have no noticable flipper lag on 1080p (LG passive 3D TV) any longer. In fact it is so responsive to me that I didn't even go back to try if there was any (further) improvement in 720p. As for the two stage flipper problem: I am all for an on/off option...
But that's just another "platform" he has to spend his resources on :p Might explain, why some management decisions have been a little questionable
